  1. So satisfying to see hockey karma in action haha. Forsberg's goal was textbook kicking motion (confirmed by former players on Hockey Panels) and it was a joke that it wasn't reviewable, then McCarron's hit on Casey DeSmith in G3 forcing us to start our third string goalie, and finally the cheap shot from Lauzon on Pettersson after scoring a goal. Not to mention the cocky chants from the fanbase. Game doesn't end until the whistle is heard.

  2. How are the Canucks the second tram to win each if their first 3 post season games with 3 different goalies… if DeSmith lost game 2? Wouldn't that be DeSmith's first postseason game? And if they mean team as a whole, that still doesn't make sense.

  3. Props to Hughes and Pettersson who had an influence in preventing that empty net goal too. There was a defensive effort there that made the difference.

  4. The Islanders choke was debatably not a choke because the Hurricanes shot attempts were 110 to the Islanders 28. The Hurricanes dominated most of that game, it just paid off late in the game. This one tho? Nashville choked HARD

  5. This match was insane to watch live, I literally jumped off my couch and screamed for joy when boeser scored his hat-trick

  6. This win was karma for vancouver getting scewed by the refs, again. That goal was clearly kicked in. I can't believe that call.

  7. Video correction: The biggest choke of these playoffs is the Toronto Maple Leafs.
This my be the third or fourth at best (so far)

  8. Don't Poke The Bear.. Also some Hockey Psychology to avoid.
I though Washington narrowly making wildcard and losing 4 straight to Rangers was a even BIGGER choke. Poor Ovi 🙁
Rogers Place is gonna be LIT Tuesday. G C G !

  9. Love seeing a video about a choke involving the Canucks where Vancouver's NOT the one choking!

  10. When Josi didn’t wind up to rim that puck hard out of the zone, I was yelling at the TV. What a mental lapse from an Elite player. I just sat there for a solid minute in silence after the Canucks tied it.

  11. That Forsberg goal was 100000% a kicking motion goal but it’s still funny to see them lose this game regardless of how bad that call was/wasnt.

  12. I don't get why you and the TNT boys (my #2 and #1 go-to's for NHL content right now) are both calling Sissons' EN attempt a choke or flub akin to Stefan. He had double coverage (one being QHughes himself) with those Nucks putting the best pressure you can on someone going for an EN goal. ie) backchecker gave him full pressure and closed his forehand option, and QH43 narrowed his backhand shooting lane as best as possible. Sissons did the best he could for his skill-level (by which I mean, he's no Crosby who might've sunk this backhander) and got real close. Yes, it's a huge what-if situation but I don't think this is anywhere near Stefan-level. To me, it's the relatively common situation where an EN-attempt gets great coverage and doesn't result in a goal. I'm a fan of a team that didn't make the playoffs, so definitely no dog in this race.

Second, at 1:10 in your vid, you call out the NSH centerman who definitely lost his man, a forward in a dangerous slot. But the real culprit and breakdown in structure IMO was the RD, who from puck-drop to goal completely left Boeser all lone on the wing. That goal was 100% his fault – you simply don't leave a 40g-scorer alone with all the space in the world, period. So TBH I think you're completely off on your analysis here. It's weird tho because your arrows are correctly depicting the ideal, but your narration is just wrong.

Great vid regardless, really like the deep-dives still. To me, the playoff weekly breakdowns are a lot less valuable than the weekly recaps during regular season because you're just recapping what happened 1:1 with nothing added. All that info is available in so many other places. For me personally, I've already seen all of it either live, on Max, or broken down by the hilarious TNT crew. The recaps made sense during regular season when there could be 15 games on in a day and most simultaneously running, but here I think it's a bit unnecessary especially as longer vids that don't do anything other than read the highlights for games that are mostly staggered. Just my opinion, I'm sure others are still clamoring for it or may not have as much time as me to watch.

  13. you mean when my Bruins led the league in wins, points, all-star players and got swept by 8th seed Leafs team in the first round when the Bruins were totally healthy? is that what you mean?

  14. ARGH. Everybody keeps acting like Sissons is the second coming of Patrick Stefan when it’s completely different. Not only was Hughes there, but Petey was doing an amazing defensive play which forced Sissons to have to hold the puck on his backhand and also shoot it when really extended. Backhand shots don’t have anywhere near the accuracy of forehand.

It’s EXACTLY how Boeser misses the initial backhand on the tying goal.

  15. This CHANNEL is amazing, breaking down Millers counter plan to the Nashville coach adjustment to Millers shot is amazing. The game within the game as they say. You don't get any kind of detail anaysis by all the so called experts on HNIC, ESPN, TSN, Sportsnet, etc.. all those has beens and never was guys talking about hockey and "good sticks" and "passionate" garbage. This guy here with his analysis and video cuts, this guy should be on the broadcasts during the periods. Well done son, well done.
