The fact that they have chants is awesome and I wish more crowds would do it. We were then blessed with Silovs amazing Hulk Hogan celly because the crowd was on him all night.

Not judging their fanbase as a whole because every fanbase has assholes that don’t represent them, and generally Preds fans have been p decent folks from my interactions. **However,** there were a few online yesterday who were cheering for this hit on Petey and it left a sour taste in my mouth.
Yeah I get being biased towards your team and I’m more than guilty of being more forgiving towards Canucks players of things than other teams sometimes. But there’s a clear limit to this and this hit definitely crossed that line.
I would not be defending a Canucks player if they did this to any other team’s player during their celly. It’s unsportsmanlike and disrespectful and not a type of behaviour I ever enjoy watching in this sport. Never mind the fact that they (players and the fans defending this) definitely knew Petey’s been going through something and was highly unlikely to fight back. Talk about kicking a guy when he’s down.
