  1. this guy is a moron. stay out of the box isn't easy when you can't get the puck back and are always slow to the puck.

  2. Pull your goalie! Connor Hellasucks

Georgie is clearly the better goalie in this series. It's not even close.

  3. Said after game 1 (barely won) that Brossoit should be played. Some did not like my statement. I went on a hunch to change things up. We list the last 3 games since. We are almost done. Why didn’t upper Jets management see what I saw. Today Brossoit never let in 1 goal is the 3rd period??????

  4. Oh shut it Rick, you cost this team a deep run because you keep trying something that hasn’t worked all season long…

  5. I mean…Jets are capable of this comeback, no doubt in my mind. But asking will they do it is completely different. Not only are the stats against us, but there’s no evidence in our current gameplay to give me any confidence. Avs in…6 if the Jets are lucky.

  6. I agree with Rick! The players aren't carrying the puck into the Avs' zone, often they are dumping the puck in, and it is often a 50% chance the Colorado team will recover that dumped puck. I saw a few wild passes made by players to nobody without looking, which again causes turnovers. On Defense in Game 2-3-4 Colorado had a player or two standing in front of our Goalie waiting for rebounds and screening the shots. At times the players in front of the goal were tipping shots making life hell for the goalie. It seemed like the Jets skaters all ignored the guys in front of the net letting them do what they like which seems to me like a bad defensive strategy. Someone should be pushing and tying up sticks etc of players loitering in front of the Jets' goal. Players on their team are skating from their zone to the Jets' zone without being hit or slowed down… all that momentum isn't great. I recommend the forecheck and even hitting people in the neutral zone to slow them down. Finish checks and keep pressure on the Avs so they don't have luxury of time to plan passing plays etc. How do I think they can win? Well, first the Jets need to get physical and battle more along the boards, avoid wild passing over long distances that could get intercepted. Keep the passes short and crisp. If needed they should really dump the puck far from Colorado players so they have time to get set in a defensive posture. Try to keep passes short and accurate. Slow the game down to a calm pace, and don't make wild passes without confirming there is a friendly player ready to receive that pass. Colorado I've noticed is constantly interfering with players that do not have the puck, and the Refs aren't calling that. So by slowing down the game speed a bit, it will reduce the impact of interference.. might also make it more likely the Ref will notice the interference. If the puck is a long way off and a player is interfering with the progess of a player, the ref might be too focused on the puck. But if the interference happens closer to the puck.. he might see it and call them for it.

  7. Bones can't play the game, only suggest how to play. The players haven't played anywhere near the right way. Avs are winning.

  8. Ehlers 1st line. NOT 3rd line and NOT 2nd either. 1st line. Ya, Ehlers made a few mistakes, but he's playing with guys that are not very fast, it just doesn't work, not in playoffs anyways. He can bring energy to this team, and he's being held back in my opinion. Also, everyone seems to be worrying about the "system" so much, when I think they just need to go for it, 100% all in, 100% energy, creativity, every moment of every shift. I was a Bones system believer, but not anymore, doesn't work in playoffs, not for this team anyways. Perfetti, I would normally say 100% no don't, but, at this point maybe, but only if Ehlers is on 1st line. too late probably anyways, but what the heck…

  9. People need to remember this is a 3-1 series, not 3-0. Winning four in a row against the Jets will take everything in the tank. The Jets aren't like those swept teams in the weak ass East and this series is far from over

  10. IF and it's a "big" IF the Jets can win the next game, it could turn this series
around, but I'd say the Avs take this in 5 or 6 games.

  11. Bowness is coaching for us to lose!.
Hellybuyck is a team USA goalie playing to lose to get out fishing early!. He diving out of play 3 times a game!
Kyle Connor, Mason Appleton also doing nothing productive to win!USA players!!!.
Monaghan, Sheiffele, Morrissey, Lowry and Broisoitt doing good job!.

    Time to re-evaluate!

  12. Lol Scheifele was right. Bowness is a stubborn fella who does the same things all over again expecting different results. Hopefully he is gone next year because the Jets got simply outcoached. I mean look at the Predators lineup and what they have accomplished under Brunnette, it is insane. Chevy brought together a solid lineup but Bowness and his "structure" mantra just isn't working, it isn't the goddamn 90's anymore

  13. Well it doesn't look like jets have answers. Avs will get on PP at least couple of times

  14. Namestnikov was great as an Av a few years ago, was unhappy they didn't bring him back hope he's OK !

  15. Bowness likes to play a tight close game, but it often will bite you in the ass onc eyou go down a couple. The entire mood has to shift to get back into those games where they are trailing. By the time the offense starts clicking its often too late. this made dallas fans go crazy, especially when you have the fire power to get the job done and instead bowness rather lean on the players he trusts to play his system. When you see nothing but dum and chase you are witnessing the breakdown in the Bowness turtle strat

  16. When guys like Ehlers disappear year after year in the playoffs you’re not winning anything. I don’t mind losing I mind watching a disinterested team going through the motions eager to start their summer on the lake. This organization is accustomed to losing and Chipman is ok with that. Sticking with the same architect for a decade with no results is unacceptable. Fire Chevy get some guys who hate to lose and rebuild this team for the fans who deserve better.

  17. As a lifelong Jets fan I hope Helly says enough is enough and packs his bags and leaves! He is getting virtually no help and is expected to win these games by himself. On top of that Brossoit wil be a starting goalie somewhere else next year. Without them the Jets would be lucky to get 80 points in a season!!
