    Couldn’t be happier with Nemec so far. I just hope we get some more overall defensive stability so he can focus on his strengths.

    If in the offseason Fitz is able to get 1 or 2 solid defensive defenseman, I think the jump from year 1 to year 2 for Simon and Luke is going to be really big. They made some normal rookie mistakes, but they were far outweighed by the flashes of brilliance.

    Agree. Our two youngest defensemen need to work on their defense. But the offensive up side is huge.

    It’s true that he has flaws but he was legit the best defenseman on our whole team last year for what it’s worth.
