Even Adam Gold has stated if Rempe were any good, they’d play him more than 5-6 minutes a game. His sole purpose is to intimidate and injure. Any other contribution the Rangers get to the positive from him is gravy. The discussion Gold had with Ken Daneyko was great. Daneyko’s indirect point was that Rempe hasn’t quite figured out where the line is and there is a lack of honor/respect in constantly crossing that line.
this is hilarious given the context from Fox trying to slewfoot Aho and getting ran over, then acting like we were thugs until like February
I can’t imagine being such a loser that this is what I’d be looking forward to in the series.
There’s a lot of mudslinging at fans during the playoffs. I get it, but it’s kind of silly. While I won’t take these two people as the face of the Rangers, I will say I can’t ever see myself wanting to wish physical violence to the degree of “blowing them up.”
I’ve also seen some Rangers fans on X/Twitter using “cripple” as their desired verb against Aho. Not to say we don’t have a few of these types in the Canes fandom, but definitely doesn’t seem to be remotely as bad as the Rangers.

If any attempt to injure our guys is made, successful or not, there’s a handful of guys and a Lemieux upstairs who are more than capable and willing to bury any one of their guys on the ice and the team on the score sheet. Vinny will be the target if they try anything, as he should be. Fuck the Rangers and their fans.
