Man, it’s a good feeling having UPL and Levi projecting out. I hope we can navigate the contracts properly
I don’t trust Marek on this all year he’s blamed us missing the playoffs on “thinking we’re smarter than everyone else” by playing Levi. He conveniently ignores Comrie’s record.
He has an agenda
I’m a big UPL fan, but I can’t see them signing him for more than 3 years. Levi is developing nicely, and I could even see him in Rochester to start next year, but to me it seems he is the future.
That’s roughly where I am for him. I think $4.5-4.75 for 4 years sounds about right. It’s not so much $$ that if this year was a one off we’re fucked. It’s not so little that he should feel slighted. The timeline (he’d be 29 at the end of 4 years) gives him another shot at a big payday if this season turns out to be his new normal. It will be interesting to see how much more than that KA ends up giving him, lol.
