I was rendering this video as Rick Bowness retired lol so you can all skip the speculation if he will hang it up or not

  2. Another great season of JETS hockey….. who didn't get teary-eyed hearing Pundits endorse JETS as cup contender/finalist!!! 2025 team of destiny!? 😮

  3. After losing in 5 games the same way they lose in 5 games every year, they're going to be a much different looking team next year, or their manager is going to be fired and they'll get someone else to make the changes they need, which I don't think will be the case.

    My prediction:
Coach Bowness is retiring so he can be with his wife, Brossoit is going to get a well earned #1 goalie spot somewhere else (Toronto, unless they're morons), special teams coach Brad Lauer is going to be fired for rank incompetence, and we're not going to have the following five players (on top of not re-signing our rentals):

Stanley, Schmidt, Pionk, Connor and Ehlers will not be Winnipeg Jets. The first we can get good returns on because he's big, regardless of questionable talent. The second two have been making extremely costly mistakes all year. The last two are great regular season players but historically have been mostly invisible in the playoffs.

It'll be a much different team, but you know what? We have a LOT of great young talent who are ready for the NHL. I'm looking forward to the changes, and next year.

  4. Forgot to mention: I think we're probably looking to move Ehlers for Jacob Chychrun. I'd prefer moving Kyle Connor because I think Scheiffele has artificially inflated KC's scoring stats for years, but it is what it is.

  5. Id like to see us trade Ehlers for a top 2 dman like a Sanheim,Provorov or younger guys like Byram/Schneider.
And get another 1b Center to Scheifele you can always find wingers in FA or push prospects finding top centers is hard im not even sold on Guentzel,Lindholm.
Id prefer guys like Horvat/Barzal/Reinhart,Kadri types or take chance younger guys like KentJohnson who just are about to blow up.

How i wish jets looked 2024
    Connor Scheifele Villardi
    Perfetti 1bCenter Lambert/Mcgroarty after NCAA.
    Nino Lowry Appleton
    Barron Vlad Chibrikov
    Extra gus,kupari,

    Morrissey Sanheim/Provorov/Byram/Schneider
    Demelo Pulock
    Samberg Hamonic
    Capobianco,Salmonsson
2 older dmen depth guys Staal/Bortuzzo.

    Hellebuyck+ Reimer

If you have to move Ehlers,Iafallo,Heinola,Lucius,Pionk,Perfetti,Stanley to get players who want to be here or better D/1bCenter do it.

    And on moose
    G1. Pickard/Driedger G2 Milic
    Brooks Froese Lucius
    Rattie Eakin Ford
    Vey Zhilkin
    Lipon Hawryluk Boland

    Salmonsson/Keeper
    Bowey/Sautner
    Bauer/Kuzmin
    Stewart/Postma
    Martin

Imo getting players from prairies even in AHL will help pride. They wont want to lose infront family/friends. And similar to Baumgartner,Keane,Roy,Meech,Flaherty could get jobs in TrueNorth/Jets/Moose after done playing be 12 months representatives instead go home after season.

Idk who would be a good coach after bowness someone open to giving younger guys a shot not having AHLers toninato, ajf, kupari, gus time.
Accountability is still a huge problem I liked Demelo saying he is about to have 2nd kid and stay in wpg.
-Dillon sounded salty didn't have a contract.
-Toffoli and Monahan/Miller waste of picks.
    – Hellebuyck basically trying to deflect saying he was playing best hockey of career and Lowry had to interrupt him few times. If he has another bad playoffs or jets season could see him asking trade.

  6. Ehlers has, throughout his entire career, been an absolute disaster where turnovers are concerned. Every coach that has been here has seen the same thing and decided not to trust him when it matters. More over Ehlers has acknowledged that publicly. Impossible not to like him and the talent is obvious but I don't want him on the ice when it matters

  7. I copied this from a guy on Facebook but it really makes sense: I don't think Scott Arniel is the best answer. He's good, but we need an experienced head coach with past playoff success. Not another Dave Lowry "stepping up to fill the void" type situation. I don't think he has what the Jets need to elevate their game in the postseason, which has to be the main focus along with special teams.
