This one for me. I live in Florida now and only make a game every couple years now. Came up with some friends for the Steelers/Jaguars came and also went to that Pens game.

If that isn’t the epitomization of Todd Reirden’s impact on this team, in a 10-second clip, nothing will ever be

The lasting legacy of the Penguins playing the Coyotes
Calgary comes back from 3-1 deficit in the 3rd only to take the lead off a bad turnover in the defensive zone with 50 seconds left in the game. This game got Guentzel traded in my opinion (though that might have been the wake up call the team needed for the playoff push at the end of the season)

The shorthanded goal after a 5 on 3 against Anaheim in the final minutes. There’s too many to name.

Forget which game it was but when Letang completely whiffed on a wide open net during a 2 on 1, then collected the puck and fell over at the blue line giving up a breakaway…other team didn’t score but that was something else.
That or the own goal…prob the own goal in a 1 goal game. Pens season summed up by them shooting themselves in the foot

In a game with a franchise that literally folded a few months later.

I don’t feel like finding it, but scoring then giving up two goals in the following 30 seconds a month or so back was a very penguin’s thing to do

I was at that game at Mullet and this was one of the most depressing/pathetic games I’ve seen in 40+ years of watching Pittsburgh sports.

I’m not clicking on that…
Same thing I thought of. Definitely the low point of the season.
I hope the mods ban you just for putting that link in here 😂
That’s the one
And now I’m sad. Nice work!

But thankfully I wasn’t at PNC for this:

« hey, you fucked up »
Better be the link of Tanger assisting Malkin into their own empty net considering they beat themselves all year long
