like you said, these issues have been NORMAL all year. i just dont see us winning w/ how consistent weve been with giving up leads, and bad 2nd periods.

Yeah the third line was BRUTAL. They do need Bennett back immediately before it gets out of control.
In my opinion Start Stolarz, so you push Bob to be better. Play Lomberg and Bennett (if possible). One thing I know is that this is a 7 game series. I believe in this until the wheels fall off but have to be better come Wednesday night in Sunrise
As per your intro, I felt the same way about this "Panthers are going to win stuff" when you were saying, "Oh, Tampa and Vasilevskiy, idk. Might be tough." I was like "I hope you're right," and it was wrong. This game and score is shocking to me. I'm baffled.
The story is this simple: panthers didn’t want to play tonight, and the bruins did. That’s it.
Ekblad was bad. Bobs been mediocre with flashes of incredible so far in the playoff this year. Look at his save % prior to this game. Play stoli game 2. And put the lines back to where they were. Rusty with energy is still rusty. Go Cats in game 2.

I was at the game pathetic l. But we had chances and swayman played good I will say that
Ugh. We can't continue playing defense like this. Ekblad was an embarrassment. He looked like a beer league player. Turnovers and rushes is all they are getting. There's a difference between the looks we're getting and their's. Swayman had no traffic in front of the net. We gotta make it harder than that for him. Game 2 has to be different. We have a chance to change the way this series goes with a win.
Man this game fucking sucked but I believe in this team and we got a nice punch in the face time to get to work

Lohrei is our hidden weapon. And wow what a game!!! Swayman is like out playing bob, which is crazy. I feel good right now. Because the Bruins aren’t expected to win the series so I don’t feel like there’s a ton of pressure compared to last year.
At least you have good humor about it. And you don't run and hide when you lose.
Boston has not forgotten what happened last season, On paper the panthers are better.. but the better team doesn't always win.

In regards to Bob ducking his head, I’d say it’s a perfectly normal human reaction. I can’t blame him for that. Also, you all need to understand that the butterfly style of goaltending was invented because a majority of shots stay low, thus protect the bottom of the net. Sometimes you just get scored on a bar down shot.

Jaws there are pics going around of literally 95% of the Panthers fans leaving the arena before the game was even over. It's the top post of hockey reddit. Either panthers fans are disgusted by the team or they just don't care.
And all the betting sites have the Bruins with the lowest chance of winning the cup at only 5% out of 8 teams…
I thought they'd sweep the Leafs, then they made themselves look stupid, and now they're back to monster level….WTF??
