"We tried to circumvent the cap rules by pretending a bunch of players were hurt then a miracle happened and they were all good for round 1 of the playoffs then we lost so now we have to go back to saying the injuries existed and were the main reason for the loss
Give me a break Cassidy, every team in the playoffs have injuries. You put Stone on LTIR AGAIN so you bums can get Hanifin and Hertl at the trade deadline. Karma's a bitch
Injuries do play a part. The Panthers reached the final last season with many injuries. I want to see what a healthy Panthers team can do in the final if they can get there.
I’d care if they weren’t playing the LTIR game to gain an accounting advantage. Every team is hurt. Not every team has guys magically show up for Game 1 three years in a row.
So basically, the Knights used about $15 million over the Cap to sign players at the deadline and have them ready for the playoffs. It's really going to be interesting in seeing how the Knights will be Cap compliance in a few months. Unless Stone will be placed on LTIR again till at least the 2025 playoffs. Happy golfing Knights. Cassidy is an idiot, does he honestly believe that the Knights are the only players who are injured in the playoffs. More excuses from the Knights.
I normally enjoy hockey fans, but they have a hive mindset that using the LTIR makes teams cheaters and wrong even though it is legal. It does need to shore up some loopholes, but a lot of fans have exposed themselves as asshats. I wasn't necessarily a Vegas fan before all this but just the sheer whining and complaining by every other fan base is enough for me to side with them. Why wouldn't a team take advantage of that? You'd be a fool not to. The Lighting did it back to back years with Stamkos for one and Kuch for another and got two cups and a finals appearance three straight seasons and I didnt see near the amount of whining as this year. The hate towards Vegas is pretty dumbfounding. I get they have had more success early on that a lot of franchises, but smart GMing was a big part of that. Don't hate the team, hate the rules that allowed them to thrive and be mad your team hasn't entertained the same rules that were/are available to them.

Not very sympathetic considering…

Quit crying and lying Cassidy.
Ahahah it's playoff hockey. Every team has injuries… Cheating the system doesn't always allow you win. Ahahaa f u c k in l o s e r
Excuses!!!!!! Like the leafs
What surgery can you get to correct being cheaters?
we don’t give a fuck!!! cheaters can go to hell
Blame it on injuries!?
As a Stars fan I would just like to say to the rest of all the hockey fans – You're welcome.
Eat shit stone was healthy cry more
Cry me a river …. enjoy your LTIR summer
Speaking of surgery, Vegas likes to operate on the cap every NHL deadline.
This year, the operation was not a success.
Boo hoo 🙁
Stop whining about injuries FFS. You manipulated the cap and got what you deserved.
Cheaters
I do believe they were injured but putting Stone on LTIR before the deadline is very suspicious
Cassidy is possibly injured also. Another factor.
Vegas has no right to blame injuries
This guys full of shit !
