Can't blame Keefe's – No coach since 1957 has got it done… The organization is a scam they got filthy rich and produced nothing to its customers for 67 years… Leaf Nation are suckers and will continue to support the scam hahaha…
The Maple Leafs are to soft in the playoff’s they are build for a hockey season not for playoffs. You need guys like the burins have or Florida have and the Rangers.

Babcock probably gets fired but i dont think he would hire Keefe. I think he makes some moves to make the leafs look like the early 2000s devils. Shanahan would have lost the power struggle and hired Mark Hunter as the GM. Lou would be promoted to the President of Hockey Ops. Bennett, Hanifin or Chychrun moves happen. Boeser or Konecy moves as well. Leafs probably have a different payroll structure and more depth as a result of that.

I have the upmost respect for Sheldon! He took responsibility after the loss to Boston and today his video of gratitude is everything in my opinion! He is not solely responsible for this mess! I wish him well and have no doubt he will find success.

JT and Mitch's contracts are up. Make some moves with players whos contracts are up. I think if the leafs lean out the roster and add the depth they need they could go to the cup finals next season. Sens did a similar things in 2006. It takes one summer for the team to reboot and start working well together. I wish you well.

A coach who had some of the best talent in the league yet he could not get them the puck, he was always out coached and that dump and chase crap that started from the Babcock days , does not work if that's al you got particularly in the playoffs. Another major problem is Reilly a third pair on even the shittier teams. He is soft , a horrible passer , always caught deep and never back there to play D. No lead was ever safe with this idiot, Mathews could score 4 goals and we still lose. No cup til Tavares is gone , he can't skate, hit , pass or deke and GD selfish af.
Tavares, Reilly, Brodie, Gio, Kampf, Gregor, Liljgren better be gone come next season.
It's tough to win with your top 3 players more concerned about their instagram story than winning a cup.

I guarantee you Keefe will get hired again as an NHL coach. His winning % of any coach with at least 300 games is # 1. He's been let go because he couldn't get a talented team out of the 1st round save for one time in 5 years. Their problem is prior to Woll, Andersen, Campbell & Samsonov simply got outplayed in the most important winner-take-all games. If he had a Swayman he'd have won this round. Samsonov was simply not as good. Period. End of story. I'm hoping Woll's injury issues are behind him & they can find a reliable back-up.

No question Tavares has to go. Marner has to go. Marner is softer than a number #2 and Tavares has the personality and enthusiasm of a shower curtain. 22 million is freed up if they are gone. It's a no brainer.

I just wanna remind people that Sheldon took the Marlies to a Calder Cup Championship. He was hired as Babcock’s replacement back in 2019. I think that it is the players that have failed. In the post season, they just don’t perform as well as they do in the regular season. I believe that if the team had played as well as they played in games 5 & 6 against Boston, they may have prevailed. I am sure that the way they played in those two games is the way Sheldon wanted them to play all the time! I believe Sheldon will be back in the NHL before too long. Haters are still going to hate, but I believe what I am saying is true.
