@Hurricanes de la Caroline

Bravo à Koochie

Buddy a joué de manière fantastique. L’équipe l’a laissé sécher. Il est le gardien du futur. Montez avec lui dans le jeu 4.

  1. Become the russian goaltender we always fear. Become that which our opponents will hate!

    I feel like we’d be at least 2-1 in this series if they started Kooch against the Rags game 1. Freddie had a rough first series, yea we won, but he gave up so many goals on such little shots. Did not seem like he was confident to go up against the Rags in the next series with how he was playing.

    whoever decided to zoom in on him tearing up needs a swift kick to the shins with a slightly rusted steel toed boot. PK went on the ice for his fist playoff game this season and played like a god, he doesnt deserve the hate

  4. Stick tap for our Nyetminder. He did all anyone could have expected of him tonight. This isn’t on him at all.

    Too many fucking breakaways and two on ones. We had nowhere near as good of looks. Yet another game of hollow shots as is usual, make shitsterskin look great when he doesn’t do anything.

    OT goal was bad, but man was that team in front of him worse

    This series has hurt, 2/3 of the time the Canes have been the better team it’s just been awful puck luck. He is the netminder of the future, if nothing else this is good playoff experience. These guys are playing their asses off for Rod, eventually they will break through.

    He did good. Our defense wasn’t great and our PP still sucked but our PK was better and we were more disciplined plus didn’t allow any PP goals this time. We need Brett Pesce back.

    He played great. I don’t think he could’ve done anything about the ones that went in; we left the poor guy out to dry.

    Yeah let’s be honest Kochetkov did a FANTASTIC job tonight!

    I’m gonna float this idea, tell me if I’m overreacting after a tough series so far….

    I like the way Kochetkov plays, he’s still young, and he has a few more years on his contract. I think he’s ready to take the next step and be our #1 goalie.

    With that being said, Anderson is also a solid goaltender. The problem is, he’s 34 and has 1 year left on his deal.

    I think Kochetcov is the long-term answer, and im wondering if we were to trade Anderson, what kind of package would we get in return for him? Or, possibly hold until next trade deadline when we know better what pieces we need?

    I’m also not sure what teams out there might be looking for a goalie, just spitballing here.
