Still a close game that could have gone either way, a bounce here or there. McDavid was off tonight though, uncharacteristic give-aways and bad passes. Skinner let two bad ones in. Nuge hits the post and the Nucks come right back and score. Hand pass by Nucks, doesn't get called and they score, etc. With that said though, they still blew a 4-1 lead, lacked killer instinct and forgot how to play defence in the 3rd period
Need more Oilers to play like Holloway. He seems like he’d jump in front of a train to get the puck. (Cough cough 71 cough)

For a top team like Edmonton, I don't think they gave it away but positive spin, sure. In the end, watching two Canadian teams is great and we'll see how the rest play out. Entertaining stuff.
It was an embarrassing loss and they better learn from this. I can't think of anything good too say really. Even when they got the early lead, I could tell they weren't on it with the bad passing, awful faceoffs etc.
Man up for the next one and just forget this nonsense even happened.
Oilers did not give them anything…they had victory ripped from their cold fingers by a better more balanced more disciplined Team.

Good to see Jack in the picture still somewhat …. Would be nice to have him doing the broadcast with Louie instead of the leaf fan boys we have right now… they are brutal to listen too. Jack is the best broadcaster

Canucks fan here. Jack Michaels is an absolute legend, love listening to his play by play
…and the two-headed monster aka Nurse and Ceci showed why they don't inspire confidence in me as a fan. I think they should be demoted down to third pairing, NOT first! Move Ekkie and Bouch, Vinny and Kulak up. This is enough already – those two could lose the series for us singlehandedly… like, even if everything else goes absolutely right.
The Oilers played sloppy and undisciplined throughout. They were lucky to be ahead going into the third. Stupid retaliatory penalties, and poor intensity doesn't win you the game. Coaching decisions and lineups no doubt contributed to this massive failure.
Just get the puck close to skinner, he’ll find a way to put it in on himself.
