It'd be best if Will Smith spent another year in college as I think he still needs to mature more even though it's been two years since that Chris Rock incident.

No, they need a chance to make the team out of camp. Dont gift them a spot on the NHL roster, sign some vets still to create internal competition for those spots. Send them to the ahl if they cant win those spots.
Education is important but Sharks hockey is importanter.
As a sharks fan, I’m aware enough to see that even if we had Celebrini, Smith, Eklund, Graf, Musty, Bystedt, and our 14th pick out on the ice the next season, our record wouldn’t improve significantly. Let them stay and develop in college one more year
The timing for the Sharks hiring a new head coach and developing those franchise players together are perfect. IMO, they should sign the Sharks this summer. Yes, we are not going to win many games next season, but if we let them stay in college, it'll take another year for them to adjust to the NHL. That is a waste of time for both parties.

Was that just a joke by Demers to bring back Jumbo, Patty, Seto and himself? Not that it's a good idea, or a bad one, but would that even be an option at this point? Would those guys even consider coming out of retirement if that was on the table? My teenage self would be beyond excited to see that happen, no matter what the product looks like on the ice… lol The nostalgia factor would be off the charts. i just don't see that being a realistic possibility at all. If ANYTHING, maybe one or two jump on the Coaching or Front Office staff. Thoughts?? Possible? Or not?

The sharks are better off to tank 1 more year. A sure thing top 3 #1. and #2. and the knights #1.
The sharks could bring up the best Barracuda players though just to see where they at. This might lead to a few more wins but might be better for team depth.
Grier is better off going all the way with bringing Smith and Celebrini right in or telling both 1 more year away and you both wont have to be on as bad a team.

Both Smith and Celebrini were dominant at the college level. I have concerns that their development may stagnate if they both stay another season at the NCAA level.
