  1. Dallas is a scary team. They took out the cap abusing Vegas then Colorado who I thought was the stronger version of Edmonton. I hope Oilers can at least get to game 7.

  2. Besides the players already performing at a high level, Oilers can only advance if all forwards (McLeod and Foegele in particular) learn from Hyman and go to the blue paint, as Nuge has started to, and if all d-men learn from Ekholm and play smart both ways. And Skinner and Pickard have to keep sv% at least .910. And, knock on wood, of course they have to stay healthy, and avoid drugs and blood clots.

  3. Tony you overdid the voice modulation a bit in the opening, which is a bit annoying. The closing sounded fine though, more natural. Always super-well groomed.

  4. Something about this playoffs feels like it’s just time. It won’t be easy, it won’t be odds on, I’d say we are the least rounded team of the final 4. But the playoffs aren’t about stats. Anyone can beat anyone, and let’s see who wants it more.

    Good luck boys

  5. Skinner somehow turns into a wall, and the Oilers have this. Otherwise….. I'd go with Pickard to start as he's the one who beat Dallas this year.

  6. I was hoping for the stars against Vegas, because I was worried about the oilers facing Vegas…….seeing now what level of hockey the stars are playing…..I kinda regret it.
I wanna root for skinner, but he's no otinger.
They gotta keep the defense tight, and not over commit on the forecheck. This is probably the biggest hurdle for them on the road to the cup.

  7. People are forgetting that the Avs were not the Stanley Cup Avs they were missing two big pieces so that hurt them. Oilers only chance, if Skinner plays great and stops the mental mistakes. 😮

  8. The team that makes the least turnovers and giveaways will win this series, the only thing that can throw that off is the quality of refereeing and off ice officials. Oilers in 6.

  9. The way Dallas beat Vegas and Colorado ~ I dont think the Oilers are used to that Stars team…. The Stars are playing their best right now .. The Oilers are not playing their best… but they can.

  10. I agree and the Dallas sports media are already saying oilers have no scoring well they must have watched a Simpson's episode of oilers but the scoring race in playoffs the oilers have the first 6 spots in race Drisitl has 20 plus points leading everyone then in 2 McDavid 20 plus points then the next 4 spots are oilers the Dallas stars too guy has 11 points I've seen this happen time and time again Vancouver fans got super cocky in oilers series and I've seen it before they hexed there team they lost final 2 games now Dallas is talking like oilers don't have a chance and how can sports media ever say something so stupid any of 4 teams has the same chance to win cup any of them to start being cocky and it's not regular people it's the Dallas sports media being cocky and it's a thing that showes you hockey experience to say anything bad about any of final 4 is insane example Florida blew every one away then flop in cup final against Vegas who oilers took to 6 series before then Vegas beat Florida 4 games to 1 or 2 not 100% sure but Vegas came in Florida was best all year beating everyone and got added kicked in cup final so don't count any team out till there series are over and don't put the curse on your team with ugly talk cause it does happen fans curse there team and they flop

  11. Barring major injuries (or endless phantom penalties), Dallas could literally win this series in 5 games. I know Edmonton can't control who they face in the playoffs, but I've never seen a team with an easier route to the conference finals. They've literally coasted through a couple of cream puff teams while Dallas has eliminated the last two Stanley Cup Champions. LOL…

  12. Depth will be the Achilles heel of Edmonton. Unfortunately they don't stand a chance against the depth of Dallas. Their bottom lines will be wayyyy more productive, it'll be a major difference maker. Dallas in 4, maybe 5.

  13. Execution in all 3 zones. This is literally an opportunity of a life time for some players. Let’s go oilers!

  14. Miro Heiskinen likes to rush the puck ALOT. The Oliers need to make a plan and make him pay, Catch him in the trolley tracks, or strip him of the puck and score on an odd man rush. G O G!
