I’ve been told by a scout that NHL teams are higher on him than the public. 18 feels high to me, but not shocking. If Adam Jiříček is still there at 18, I wouldn’t feel comfortable going Boisvert, but otherwise it’s a really interesting pick. If he can improve his skating, this could look like a great decision down the line. He’s committed to University of North Dakota

So another center? I know that Nazar and Moore aren’t a guarantee but they should be penciled in as the 2C and 3C of the next core.
I guess one of them or Boisvert could move to the wing. Lots of uncertainty on the top two lines at wing beyond 2024 even if you take Demidov to fill one of the spots.
If they’re moving up to guarantee a forward likely means Levshunov > Demidov. Also – while I need to research more on the prospects I don’t see the appeal on this player while Hage put up far better stats on a worse team all while not playing the prior year.
