  1. Parehk over Dickinson Parehk reminds me of Erik Karlsson and Karlsson carried the sens on his back hard to pass up a Karlsson 2.0.

  2. I think Sens go for one of rearguards Dickinson, Buium or Parekh at 7 (for me in that order). I really like Stiga too. Would not mind picking him at 25.

  3. The Sens already have Sanderson, Chabot, Chychrun, Brannstrom and Kleven in the left D. The don’t need another left D.

  4. Perek. 6-0 isn’t tiny for an offensive Dman dynamo. Karlsson was 5-10 155lb when they drafted him. Erik grew in size from 18. Perek is considerably bigger than he was.

  5. Hey Ross, Derek was a really good two way Center, so it was legit for him to score in a game 7. But I feel you haha

  6. Dickinson. Team needs size and defensive ability. Every team could use more of that actually. A player like parekh could get you into trouble and could end up not being as useful in a playoff series.
I’d put Buium ahead of parekh too. Very good offense, and defense and a BIT more size

  7. Crazy that the top 2 teams in the world championship won't be in that 4 nations tournament.. so many top tier players being left out

  8. I want the Sens to take a home run swing with Parekh. I think he has the highest ceiling, a potential superstar.

  9. Not throwing shade at you guys…..the offseasons are just way too long for Sens fans. I'd love to feel a playoff run sometime soon lol Definately looking forward to interview season as they're pretty interesting. Keep up the good work boys!!

  10. If the Sens needed a LHD Dickinson would be amazing we see how good London is at developing and how much potential Dickinson has to be that elite 2 way dman. Saying all that though I think Parekh would be a better pick for the Sens just imagine if Parekh hits a pairing of him and Sanderson would be nasty. Parekh is much more hit or miss and the Sens haven't been the best at developing dmen but I think Parekh has that high ceiling that Dickinson doesn't its worth the swing on the upside he has. I'm fine with any of Dickinson, Parekh, and Buium. Would love Catton though the more I think about it he just is so dynamic and the Sens have great dmen options at 25 and their own 2nd round pick

  11. Watched Saginaw absolutely torch the spitfires this year and parekh is the real deal I want the senators to draft him

  12. One day a 5’10 D’aman is tiny, the next a 5’10 forward is on the top of the charts…..not sure he’s what the Sens Doc’s have ordered

  13. Dickinson probably won't be around for the 7th pick. Parekh looks soft and I thought he would be better at moving the puck than what I've seen in the Mem Cup.

  14. I didn't realize you guys monitored this after shows. Five points: 1. I've soured on Yakemchuck. A guy with 120 minutes in 66 games, but only two fighting majors, sounds like a low hockey-IQ player. Great skill, size and toughness, but my PTSD over brain farts from Cowen, EK, Ceci, Zaitsev, Chychrun et al over the years will go to my grave. 2. Parekh is exciting but seems risky, especially watching playoffs. He got crushed twice vs Manitoba on Friday and if that happened in NHL playoffs a guy his size breaks in half. 3. I'm good with Dickinson or Silyev — players you pretty well KNOW will be solid top fours, will protect our goalie, have size for playoffs but skill too, great skaters both.5. Finally, Ross! I just can't fathom a rationale for drafting a forward unless Lindstrom falls to us and we believe he's the next Lindros. Otherwise that's nuts! This team has a lot of good to great young forwards, but in terms of great young defence I'm sorry, it's Sandy and a black hole. On the big club and in the pipeline. This is an historically great defence-heavy top 10 and good god, we're drafting 7th — surely this is our last top ten pick for a few years, no???? My brain would explode if ex-d-man Staios didn't go D and likely a heavy one if possible.

  15. I look forward to your profile of Sam O'Reily. Sweet goal tonight for the Knights, he's ranked late first I think!
