Le 30 mai 2012, Colin Fraser a marqué son premier but en carrière en séries éliminatoires et Anze Kopitar a marqué le but vainqueur lors d’une victoire 2-1 lors du premier match contre les Devils du New Jersey. La victoire en prolongation a donné aux Kings une avance de 1-0 dans la finale de la Coupe Stanley.

    I was hit with a bit of food poisoning that day… so I was uncomfy on the couch the whole game.. and when Kopi had that break away.. Ron Hextall in his box and I, on my couch both stood up and said “c’mon Kopi” and then my tummy didn’t hurt so much

    I was reminded of this particular goal when Kopitar scored the OT game-winner in Game 2 in Edmonton this season. Of course, this goal (2012) was on a much bigger stage.
