@Sharks de San José

1. Probably one of the most insane Cinderella stories in this insane league’s history. Going from a record-setting loss total to coming one win away from the conference finals is nothing short of remarkable.

  2. What is that screeching celebration noise all the way through the Leafs series?
I don't know, but I like to think that's what a mic'd up Makarov sounds like in the heat of the moment

  3. Best hockey channel on all of Youtube. I legitimately look forward to new ones after watching the latest ones. The quality of these are so damn good man!

  4. Pat Falloon and Jeff Norton (and coach Kevin Constantine) would later become contributors for the Penguins teams of the late 1990s/early 2000s decade.

  5. As a Sharks fan, this run is weirdly painful for me, maybe because I wasn't a fan of hockey till 97, but it's just every single Sharks playoff run in a nutshell. Right as you can see the mountain top, right as you start thinking "oh my god, this might actually happen!" At the last second the rug gets pulled out from under you in the most gutwrenching way possible. Saying that that though, I still look at this run fondly, that OV line in particular was special.

  6. 22:06– Sabres 4, Islanders 1
Dale Hawerchuk (on the Sabres) scored two power play goals, allowing New York (??) to extend its winning streak to three games- lol nice proofread newspaper editor man

  7. I still don’t understand how this channel hasn’t exploded. This is some of the best long form nhl content I’ve seen

  8. I doesn’t matter what you decide to show us. Whatever you decide to show us is golden! As a huge fan of everything from the 90’s this was awesome. I even dusted off my hockey cards from that era and put together this team in front of me.

  9. Pinholes I was wondering what's the limitations on the Past part of Playoffs Past?
I realize it would be a sore subject for you but I think Canes Caps 2019 could be a wonderful series to highlight sometime down the road
I love the Yesteryear series a lot! Keep up the great content 😀

  10. Best profile, doc, teal history. Statistics are brilliant, love your work.
The Cow Palace, 71 losses, Arturs Irbe, Red Wings, great NHL piece.

  11. December 38th is, in fact, my favorite date!

All things aside, another monumental video. Always great and love the music choices as well

  12. If the Sharks beat Toronto in Game 7, it would have been a #7 and #8 seed Western Conference Final against Vancouver, something that has only happened once in 2010 in the Eastern Conference Final with #7 Philadelphia taking down #8 Montreal.

  13. I really like the presentation of there win loss record it reminded me of secret base good shit as always one of my favorite channels on the platform can’t wait for your new immense success

  14. I love videos like this cuz this isn’t a team I would ever think of, and yet this whole video I felt excited and happy for them like I was experiencing it in real time. These are always just so well done

  15. Terrific storytelling as usual. Would love to see a video on a past canucks season.

  16. I have been the biggest Sharks' fan east of the Mississippi river since day one… and I remember this season VERY well.
In saying that…. your video sir… made me cry happy man-tears! 💯
I used to collect all of the Sharks' hockey cards for many years back in those days and followed as closely as one could (pre-internet)…
this 93-94 season is/was EXACTLY as you said it was.
The BEST season a team could have (from a previous spot on the calendar 12 months prior)…
and it was filled with everything a fan could have asked for (aside from lifting The Cup) 🤌
Kudos on an excellent video… and for making me feel 23 again 🤜🤛

  17. Oh, poor Johan Garpenlöv. He hit the post in OT with the Sharks in 94 and he would hit the post in OT with Sweden in 96…

  18. Man those playoff goals at the Shark tank bring goosebumps. 93-94 was the season i became a hockey fan, thanks for this video

  19. All these retrospective videos and documentaries of yours are amazing. Great narration and stunning presentation. My compliments for all the work.
