I’ll shit talk the Oilers all day, but the fans 100% deserve credit for supporting the team through that shitshow. Most rinks would’ve been half empty after a few years of the team being that badly mismanaged.

Oilers Draft since 2007: ten within the first ten picks overall, six within the first four picks, and four the first overall selections.
Flames Draft since 2000(not counting this year): 6 picks within the top 10. 2x 6th 1x 4th 2x 9th 1x 10th
So in 7 less years the oilers have picked in the top 10 four more times than us overall. 5 more times in the top 4 and obviously 4 more times first overall. And they feel like they have a leg to stand on and brag? Tbh this is all you need to know.
