Petit rapport Friedman sur Guentzel et Necas


On dirait que Guentzel ne re-signe vraiment pas, Canes lui recherche activement un choix de mi-tour si une autre équipe veut avoir une longueur d’avance sur les négociations contractuelles 😞

La seule nouvelle concernant Necas, c’est que notre FO le traite comme une future star en termes de ce qu’il attend d’un échange. Bien.

    If Guentzel signs elsewhere then Necas should be retained, barring insane trade returns. That’s a lot of lost scoring

    Guentzel was never going to resign here. If he’d have wanted to take a hometown discount to play somewhere, he’d have signed the myriad of deals Pitt offered.

    At his age and with his track record, he owes it to himself/his family to get a bag. His name is on the cup already. He’s a legend in Pitt. Long term big money is all that’s left and the Canes were *never* going to give a 30 year old fwd the 7 or 8 years someone will.

    No hard feelings, loved the dude’s game, was good for us, but there’s a reason they’re called rentals.
