- Choix de 2e ronde 2024 (Caroline)
- Choix de 4e ronde 2025 (Caroline)
Les Hurricanes de la Caroline reçoivent :
- G, Jacob Markstrom (il reste deux ans, 6 millions de dollars AAV)
- LW/RW, Andrew Mangiapane (il reste un an, 5,8 millions de dollars AAV)
- Choix de 2e ronde 2024 (via les Stars de Dallas)
- Choix conditionnel de 3e ronde 2025 (Calgary)
Accord ou pas d’accord ? Je dirais un accord si Markstrom avait quelques années de moins. Je ne sais tout simplement pas si échanger contre un gardien de but du même âge que celui que nous devons échanger est la meilleure idée. Peut-être que cela peut être un pis-aller jusqu’à ce qu’il y ait de meilleures options ? Je préfère définitivement envoyer Necas vers l’ouest plutôt que vers Boston ou Philly, c’est juste l’âge de Markstrom et mon opinion un peu surfaite sur lui qui me font appréhender.

As said before. Markstrom is the same age as Fred and isn’t really an upgrade. Yes we get out of the KK contract but to me it seems like bringing in another older goalie and a downgraded winger. Personally don’t see the value in this one.
Maybe if we got Weegar back in this deal even if we had to add another pick. Otherwise doesn’t make any sense for us

yes lets trade our 50 point forward and a guy on an off year for a 40 point forward and a goalie that’s 3 months younger than our current « probably retiring soon » goalie but has a .027 lower save, all so we can move back in the draft.

So we get a goalie who is a mild at best upgrade over what we already have who is old and not that good. We got a small, undersized, forward who is older, overpaid, has scored over 20 goals exactly once in his career and has never come close to scoring as much as Necas has in a year, we drop down 2 spots in the 2nd round as well?
