  1. This team keeps pissing me off with their overpassing and not just shooting at the fricking net. Florida is clearly clogging up the areas to avoid grade A chances, throw pucks on net and fetch rebounds, none of that cutesy passes that result in a crappy shot attempt.
I hate to say it but its over down 2-0 in the series, very rarely do any teams come back from this

  2. Pathetic Oilers: Draisaitl who lost ALL important face-offs😝 and 2 min penalty, Bouchard who had terrible game with 2 critical give away and 4 mi penalties🤪, mediocre Skinner ( SV% = .88)😜and the rest of this pathetic Co.🤑 Florida is clearly much better team.😇

  3. They're (florida) playing Belfrys interconnected zone strategy. They employ an aggressive physical forecheck. If that fails, they disrupt clean breakouts just outside the opposition blue line just to nullify the opposition speed through the Nzone, which leads to a defendable attack. If the opposition gets into the dzone, the plan is high pressure man on man defense, with defenders typically trailing their checks early and skating forward/beside their checks. This lends itself to fast puck out and rushes going the other way. The oilers think they didnt play wel/which is true, but the panthers system lends itself to disrupting the opposition enough so they cant get a sustained attack, but not so much so that their plan is obvious, thus making it hard to counter. The only real weakness in the system appears to be that it requires a ton of energy/skating to be effective, and for the opponent to get frustrated and create more errors. Also, the aggressiveness can be exposed if the opposition is fast. I found it weird they played a different style in game 1. It feels like now they were baiting us to hopefully pull a fast one on us and get 2 Ws in the process. The system seems to be so new, that teams havent really caught on to how to defend it. Hopefully Knoblauch and co can find a few things to try. It seems the panthers are getting into our players heads a bit, and that needs to stop, especially re:the powerplay. Our guys gotta get angry and get our legs going and shutout the noise. BTW, it would have been good if they called that CLEAr slash that basically nullified McDavids breakaway in the 3rd. No wonder the Oil looked frustrated out there

  4. Yes. I having big trouble on seeing this going all the way. 2game there where just not good enough. So I think this is over. But. Oilers is the one team we know can bounce back.

  5. it's sad that Edmonton fans think they'd win a cup with one player that produces. You don't see that Paul Maurice is gonna shut down Connor and pretty much put this thing in the bag? By the way, what's up with the goonery of Leon, Fogele, Kane. Absolute embarrassing display of sportsmanship by this team. Hope they lose and Florida skates the cup around Rogers Stadium right over the Oilers logo at center ice with a 4-0 sweep.

  6. Trying to get too many fancy 'looks' and no shots. Overthinking. Shoot the puck get dirty rebound…its simple hockey. Don Cherry is having a heart attack somewhere

  7. Look over the game stats and watching the shifts you see Evander Kane again not putting forth that effort of every single player required for winning the ultimate series.

Team does look a work in progress for what’s needed here to prevail. Each series they have adjusted. The task to do so.. definitely possible. 🥅🏒🎯✅

  8. The Referees so bias…They didn’t call when McDavid break away and he’s been hooked, tsk! Even the (delayed over the glass call?) So much and it’s bad for Canada now. The NHL it’s look like they don’t like Canadian Team to win the Cup anymore…GO OILERS GO 💪💪💪🏆

  9. Delusional Gayler fans thinking they will win the next 2 games at home lol. They will get swept like they did by the Avs in 2022 WCF🤣

  10. Oilers are done in 5… The refs owe the Oilers in game 3 but in game 4 Skinner let's in a soft goal as Florida ties it late and wins in ot and then Florida destroys Oilers in game 5..

  11. Hey McDavid…. Why don’t you command your teammates to wear pride jerseys?….. maybe that’s what the teams looking for.

  12. The Oilers had weak playoff matchups, people kept telling Oil fans that Florida is not L.A. or Vancouver, they knew better though. Telling us how great the Oil were, yep, wrong. I'm going to laugh when they lift Stanley in Rogers Stadium, bummer I'd like to see it here in America where it belongs.

  13. He’s trying to hid the fact that’s he’s frustrated and it’s so obvious he is lmao!

  14. Playing a inconsistent will never win a game, hardly any shots on net win never win a game either. If you don't win both at home yr done.

  15. Edmonton is out coached. The loss has nothing to do with McDavid. NY Rangers star players couldn’t were ineffective against Florida too.

  16. Oilers embarrassed themselves and the entire national hockey league. Suspension are warranted and a sweep would be best justice!

  17. Hollands head better be on the chopping block / NURSE / SKINNER / and $ 5 Million for ZERO in the MINORS ! Hay I want to be a GM !!!!
O well there is always next year !!!!!!!!

  18. Hollands head better be on the chopping block / NURSE / SKINNER / and $ 5 Million for ZERO in the MINORS ! Hay I want to be a GM !!!!

  19. Its like I'm re-watching the collapse of the Oilers in the WCF 2 years ago to Colorado.
Hope its not a repeat ….

  20. Oilers not only need to focus they need to play more like Florida to have any chance to win. Agressively…more agressively and AGRESSIVELY. Sometimes you have to play the way you prefer not to to win. Sometimes nasty penalties is the way to go. Then penalty killing group.. all the best players. 😊❤

  21. Edmonton is going to start playing dirty like last night cause they can't match on the score board. Drai and Fogele should be suspended and Kane always starts stuff and runs away. None of these wimps would drop the gloves like an honorable player would. Wimpy teams with one superstar like 97 aren't winning cups, it takes grit and a team effort.

  22. I picked Florida before the series because I don’t think the oilers have seen a team out west that is up in your grill constantly for 3 periods
