LOL classic EDM, when they're winning from garbage calls, no complaints with the officiating. Soon as they start to lose, the coach, the players, the media blame the refs, lol. For 3 rounds EDM was gift wrapped bogus penalties. They have no leg to stand on to mention anything about bad officiating. Without bad officiating they're not even in the cup finals.

The Panthers wore the Oilers down mentally by baiting and confusing them the whole game. Oilers fell straight into their trap and became frustrated, aggressive and desperate. It was a mess to watch as an Oilers fan.

The Oilers can't afford to play dirty against the Panthers; the Panthers' players have a natural edge in that style. I've mentioned numerous times that Skinner is the Oilers' weakest link.

Too many things wrong with the Oil. Far too many to mention. They're getting their ass kicked left right and center. Every single player is invisible just like the Colorado sweep 2 years ago. Knoblauch's inexperience has finally caught up to him. He's losing control of his team and he has no idea how to turn the ship around. The fact that Knoblauch is blaming refs and goal posts for his own bad decisions is pathetic. Knoblauch started this down hill spiral by putting Nurse and Ceci together in Game 1. He knew it wasn't going to work and he did it anyway. Taking Ceci out and putting Vinny in? Bad decision. Knoblauch is getting everything he deserves right now. Knoblauch ignored the stats and went with his emotions in Game 1. Even if we get a split in Edmonton, not a chance in hell the Oilers are winning the next 4 out of 5 games. Goaltending alone is the biggest reason why it's not going to happen. Skinner is just not good enough to steal 4 games in 1 series. Let's have a moment of silence and appreciate our team making it to the Stanley Cup finals. 18 years. What an amazing season! What a run in 2024!
