I'm not a Boston or Ottawa fan, but I will be watching the ends of their first few wins, just to see who, if anyone, Swayman and Ullmark hug.

Very good value in return for the Bruins. I think they did pretty well, I also hope that the goalie hug tradition will continue.
First off, taking Korpi is obviously a “pump and dump” plan. He’s going to do far better in Boston than he would have in Ottawa, and they’ll be able to flip him out for at least a decent 2nd round pick.

excellent trade for Ottawa. The only thing is that it didnt come with an extension. Thats the only weird detail. Otherwise, well done for Staios
Fantastic deal for Boston. Korpisalo has shown he excels as a back-up.
I think the Hockey Guy is on crack… Sens Fleeced the Bruins and Korpisalo was worst in the league last year.
1.2 million in extra cap is just not enought for me to like this trade.

I think Ottawa's D is going to blow up Ullmarks numbers like its done with most of their goalies. Hope he can weather the storm.
Do Ottawa still have Forsberg? In that case that is a goale tandem gone full circle. Forsberg and Ullmark was once upon a time the goalie tandem in Modo in the Swedish league before they took the jump across the pond.
As a Canucks fan I could root for Ottawa as well.
Don't hate it for Boston. Ullmark hasn't got an extension and wouldn't be re-signing there anyway with Swayman taking start position. And if Ottawa has a bad year, Ullmark will move on from them too. It's a first and a bottom 6 center for 1 year of a goalie who really hopes he won't be fed to the wolves like Korpi was.
Korpi redemption arc will be beautiful.
As long as Ottawa get Ullmark to extend this is a really good trade for Ottawa, they really needed an upgrade in goal. If he gets flipped at the trade deadline because he doesn't want an extension ,it won't look so good. I'm guessing he's already been asked and said he would extend?
Disagree with Hockey Guy on this one.. as long as he signs a new contract, the Sens won it hands down
Korpisalo will have better stats than Ullmark. Ottawa's defensemen are horrid.
