With Ekblad most likely gone and bobs contract coming due soon, this could work and still retain rhino

Swaggy and Reino are a wash for me, we’ll keep one of them long term. Reino will have a ton of goal regression due to have of them being on the PP, but he’s also on the PK which is crucial.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we shell out to keep our forwards and fill in the D behind Forsling and Ekblad with late career guys looking to make a cup run. This system is heavily dependent on forechecking forwards to run.
He’ll take a discount. He’s got two cups if he wanted to chase money this is the time to do it. So if he wants a long term deal he’s willing to take less for the team is my guess.
Its gonna be in the 7.5 to 8.5 range hes a 35-40 goal scorer and playoff performer.
I’m going to miss Monty, sure I yell at him when he makes a bad turnover on a powerplay and it ends up being a short handed goal. But man is he so important to our defense, especially as a hitter and time on ice guy. Going to miss him.
