Maybe a small subtlety, but they use the terms « flaps closed » there. It’s a reference to old wood stoves either in the sauna or at home. Basically you either close or open the air in take by moving a metal spade through the chimney. If you want to extinguish the fire, you go « flaps closed. » Also colloquial to being blackout drunk.
