Who do you Felix and Jake see the Ducks targeting tomorrow
Lfgggg! I was there great day 1 for our ducks!
Ducks in the last 12 months have built their top line of the future.
Disappointed, I'm 30 mins in and no mention of the Hockey IQ. 🤣
The Athletic mock draft has Silayev to Ducks at #3 but has this to say “A lot of people in the NHL noticed when Pat Verbeek was following around Oshawa winger Beckett Sennecke in North Bay late in the season.”
Yakemchuk > Buium
Beckett Sennecke pick means to me, Verbeek like Zegras and nothing with trade rumors, bc Beckett looks like a Zegras 2.0… but why you not trade back some spots?
and the Solberg was way too expensive… Utah showed how "cheap" you can trade up with 24. pick… but I am happy its not a russian, too much risk.
What baffles me every year is the strong opinions fans have on prospects, which I am convinced they have not seen enough to make a judgment on – or at all. They all just go off based on 3 sentences they read from a scouting report.
I'm pretty bummed we didn't take Demidov or Silayev
Heading into the draft, I was ready for anything with that third overall pick.
Figured it wouldn’t be a D or C as they are loaded at those positions. Probably not a Russian player.
So for me, Sennecke wasn’t a surprise. A Canadian born winger with high offensive upside is perfect for the Ducks prospect pool.
Also love that we got a baby Gudas!
