We are where we were most likely gonna be after Holland left. Holland left with us with Larkin, Hronek, and little else.
Great return on Hronek trade and IMO, decent drafting, but offers some pretty baffling free agency contracts. the young kids need to make a difference this year or I will personally start losing my faith in the Yzerplan.
Why would you compare Talbets contract to Gibson? Gibson is a first ballot hall of famer. He signed that deal in the summer of 2018 after 3 consecutive 920+ save percentage seasons. His save percentage has dipped the last couple years as the Ducks have bottomed out. But at the time he was talked about as the best goalie in hockey. Talbet is a bridge in net to get our prospects developed.
