Use a clear epoxy and let it cure for atleast a full day.
Ooo shit I literally saw one of these at the Lincoln Park Salvation Army about a month ago.
If you find no solutions (I hope you do) you should retire it and plant something in it. I’ve got a couple mugs that have faded so they now hold random succulents.
I got mine from Amazon in Canada, awhile back.

Clear Epoxy, just make sure it’s room temp and clean any debris off the spot you are gluing to with alcohol. You may also want to slightly rough the contact spots with sand paper for better adhesion

Super glue like gorilla glue might go brittle in the freezer, maybenaome kind of plastic glue would work better?
My mom has mine at home in northern Michigan. Got it for christmas in like 2006. Best mug.
