I'm not down about the Pens, I'm actually pretty excited about this upcoming hockey season! Our family will be landing in Pittsburgh International Airport in a few days, but we'll be landing after "business hours" and have a long drive north after collecting our luggage… One day, hopefully, we'll be able to stop by the office🤘🤘

I'm down on the team because they're just going through the motions and have lost their ambition. They're just waiting for Sid to retire before getting serious about Cups again.
In the meantime, they're gonna spend 40 mil on him over the next 4 years instead of using that money to acquire what they really need, futures.
Dejan, any chance Acciari and Nieto actually sit with the salaries they carry? I think a lineup with either of them in it goes against Dubas aim to get younger. Lizotte, Beuveallier, Poulin, Gruden, Puustinen….any of them is fine. The only older guys I want in lineup are the stars, Eller, Hayes.

Thank you DK. I just hope the problems they had last season, will not be a repeat. We all know they didn't make the playoffs. I'm still positive and I would love to see a better power play and I would love to see an improved defense. It's time to get in the playoffs and win. Great show DK as always.

Watching Reilly Smith totally stone-faced after scoring a goal was a huge red flag and I thought it confirmed that his heart wasn't in it. What a shame.
We are down because the team didn't improve. They are still the oldest team in the NHL. Moreover, this team is not good enough to compete for a cup or bad enough to get a good draft pick. So, the team is stuck in the middle, which is the worst place to be. They will finish 6 to 9 and lose in the first/second round or miss the playoffs again.
It would have helped a lot if Jarry could have been moved. The fact that no one trusted him, when making the playoffs was on the line, last season, will continue to be a huge distraction for the organization, no matter whether he has his usual few games of brilliance, or not. Dubas made some progress, but a lot more could have been done.
