I like it. Solid first engagement, and at least now he knows what he’s dealing with in Pittsburgh – 50% negative creeps, and 50% great hockey fans.

  2. Fancy-Reply5732

Sometimes, a simple change of scenery will do unless you’re Reilly Smith. We need to get younger.

  3. Ecruteak-vagrant

I do think it’s very fair to be critical of players. Scrub is probably wording it too harshly though.

  4. hangryhyax

He’s appeared in more than 41 games (half season) once and had 0.48 PPG, but otherwise seems to be consistently around 0.30-0.40 PPG, and he’s 25. I know PPG is not all to look at, but it’s the easiest to reference and understand quickly. I’m more than happy to give him a chance.

Also didn’t realize I used to watch him with Mike Johnston behind the bench (Winterhawks), so that’s neat.

We’re such a spoiled fan base. Just cheer for the logo

I recommend that athletes and everyone else on earth really stay off Twitter forever

That daily_grinds guy seems like a Glass half empty sort of fellow.

1% of high school makes it to college level

1% of college makes it to pro level

Wake up and see a mid 40s accountant that never played a day in their life post that you are a « scrub » ☠️☠️☠️

  9. StonedImaculate420

I like this kid and was excited when we acquired him. Low risk – high reward, in my opinion.

It’s crazy how big a POS people are online. It’s fucking sad.

  11. HailState17

The idea of calling a professional athlete a scrub, and actually meaning it, is mind boggling.

  12. Yeah, Glass isn’t worth the contract by any stretch of the imagination, but Pens got a 3rd rounder and a 6th to take that bad contract and when you’re the oldest team in the NHL that also happens to have the worst prospect pipeline in the NHL, picks are a lot more important to the Pens than most other clubs.

All I’ve been hearing for years is we need to get younger. We acquire a young guy and people still bitch.

Like sorry, but who do people want Dubas to get? Bedard? With what fucking trade assets?

  14. Euphoric__Dot

Confidence is really important, it doesn’t help your confidence when people are calling you a scrub before you’ve even played a game

I saw Cody Glass hanging out of the passenger side of his best friend’s ride trying to holler at daily_grinds.

  16. RiseAbove87

Oh shit. We’re actually gonna have a really motivated player. What a breath of fresh air.

  17. evil_iceburgh

I’m a fan now. Hope he does well

  18. PachucaSunrise

I think what he meant to say was « Shut the fuck lil dick »

  19. Bonowski

I’m entirely on board with giving him a chance. Happy he responded to that comment. I like it. Happy to have the kid on the team.

  20. Fastlane19

daily_grinds is an asshole. This is how we welcome someone to the team? Welcome to Pittsburgh Cody I wish you all the success for the upcoming season

  21. Character-Umpire-193

This just bought him like 2 months worth of patience from me lol
