I believe that Swayman is over valuing himself. He’s proven to be a very good goalie, but is he worth the money I think he is asking for? (7+million) That will not leave the Bruins with much cap space.
Lucic is not worth the headaches in any locker room. I would be very surprised if any team is interested in him.

Swayman may SAY he wants to be a longtime Bruin and may even mean it, but this is too much of an asking price and the whole situation is stressing all of us. I also would not allow Lucic on my team if he came back with the negativity and drama around him although prior to the incident I was a huge fan. I'm not trying to be mean here, but for personal reasons I will be watching less of the Bruins this coming year although of course I still care and want the best for them. The reasons are, as I said, of a tragic personal nature and I need to keep them private. Sorry to report this.
I haven't been worried about Swayman's new contract at all. It's not that uncommon for RFAs to not get signed until close to camp. Thanks for being above the only one who has been making positive content about this. So much negativity and rumors out there that others are posting really annoys me. I have no doubt that Swayman and Sweeney will get things done.
As for Lucic? I wish him all the best but I think his playing career is at an end. The way the game has changed and with his age I just don't see where what he brings to a team would be a benefit. I think his locker room presence and leadership isn't enough to land him on an NHL roster.
I'm too old to let rankings like that bother me anymore. If Pastrnak wasn't on the list at all that might have bothered me but it's just a fluff article. It doesn't mean anything in the long run so there's no point in getting worked up over it.

It’s time to just be honest, he’s being greedy and entitled. He will sign. I’m not worried about that. I’m worried about him bending the team over for 9M a year after winning one first round playoff series. I’m not trying to belittle his skills, but this is a business, and you don’t make someone one of the highest paid goalies in the history of the world based off something they have NOT accomplished yet. End of story. Now take your $64 million overpayment and go play hockey for a living sway…this has become obnoxious to the point where fans will start turning on him if he doesn’t immediately deliver…

They really shouldn't have pick Lucic up. I get that he was part of 2011 but he wasn't that guy anymore. I'd rather they give a kid ice time at least they have wheels.
I’m so annoyed with the Swayman deal but not at him. Bruins have time and time again waited to the last moment to make deals. At 25 I don’t blame him wanting something long term, moving sucks, getting use to a new system sucks. People always put the not signing on the player and seriously they have almost nothing to do with it, it is why they have agents I mean 99% of signings is all lawyer nonsense anyway. He’s a good kid with a tough agent whose job is to fight tooth and nail for him. Also we don’t know what his agent is asking it may not be about the number it can be about literally anything.
Big money goalies can make teams win big. I wouldn’t considering something like 9.6 million and the loss of multiple 1st rounders a ridiculous price to pay for a goalie like him.
YES 100 percent Lucic should be allowed in the NHL. People need to stop judgeing people, no one knows what happened. Craig Mac tavish made a huge mistake and was given a second chance. STOP WITH THE CANCELING PEOPLE!!! One thing no one talks about when this happened. It was the fathers trip and Lucic was off hurt. Lucic's dad commited sucide, I am sure that played a huge part in that day. Not an excuse for whatever happened but walk in a man's shoes before condeming him. Remember this is the same guy who always dressed up at the Boston children's hospital year after year.
Sway is training hard. He even jumped into a triathlon last weekend to up his cardio (check the video). The guy is a total professional in the way he carries himself.
