As a longtime oiler fan that was one of the worst displays of hockey I has watched in a longtime……..everyone was playing like nurse! The officiating was horrible as well, both sides. I’m normally not worried missing 97, we have done it before but for god sakes stop saying the team was rattled by him out, these are god dam millionaires in the so called best hockey league in the world if that rattles them we may as well fire them all and start over! It was lazy and not crisp and some would argue this is how they played all season so far! Columbus was ready to play and giving no time and space, that’s how you win hockey games!
Jeff Jackson chose veteran players over youth. Signing Perry and keeping Ryan over Philp & Lavioe, also poor management by not getting a GM signed before free agency. Lost Broberg & Holloway for nothing, and Lavioe on waivers. Traded McLeod. Gave up youth and speed, got older and slower. Im just a triggered Oiler fan who sees our poor start as a result of a mismanaged team and want to complain lmao.
72 games left to figure it out. We are slow.

I love our OILERS. But I am getting tired of Knobs excuses, they were so good, our team was great. Lets be positive, but realistic at the same time.
Draisaitle is way to hot and cold…..Hyman needs to sit a game to see the game from above, Eckholm needs to step it up physically @ the blueline.

Drais is a concern. Scores w McD and shows heart at times…. and really lazy/sloppy at other times… and has never been able to center a line w/o McD. Oil may have overpd for him…. w/o McD its unclear of his true value. ???
Hey Kris, the task is now simple, don't lose upcoming games ugly like tonight again… without McDavid the team should still play somewhat disciplined and competitively, at least let the team pretend to fight for every shift on ice…if Stu let 2 goals in, just pull him out…Nuge doesn't deserve on top lines, give the Arvidsson and Skinner more chances, now it's the best time to test them what they can truly bring for Oilers. Hope McDavid won't miss many games, wish him a speedy recovery.

My opinion – should never have signed #29 to that contract. I would have traded him for 2-3 younger players.
This team is slow now. Losing skilled, young players like Cleoder, Hollywood and Broberg has had a huge impact. Also Foegele. They looked like a farm team out there. Couple that with mediocre defence and an inconsistent Skinner in net and you have a disaster. They better figure it out! Dig in!
Every game, entire defense just causally wandering around , not challenging incoming players at blue line , or just plain crowding goalie, possibly working for other teams as non paid screen posts not moving but always detrimental to goalies line of sight .

After "Big Mac" got injured, the Oilers team became a herd of sheep without a shepherd😇. Pathetic Skinner😂 allowed 3 goals after 6 shots and the rest of the herd including “German Bratwurst” and scoreless Hyman forgot how to handle the puck😝. There are 32 teams in the NHL, and Oilers ranks dead last in penalty kill percentage this year🤣. Just look at the stats of the Oilers team and individual players and you will be horribly surprised at how bad this team is and how terrible the individual players are. "Sniper" Hyma n has a "Bagel" 😝in every game this year, Skinner has 1 good game in 7, $9 million 🤑defender Nurse has (-6), etc. 😜Coach "Knob" you are NOBODY😇
Skinner is now a liability. I know the team is being supportive of him but enough is enough. Its time for a change.
Oilers need a goalie, a real one.
