  1. Leafs scoring has gone down but that's an acceptable result of the team being more responsible on defense. But if the bottom six doesn't start pitching in with some clutch goals, it's going to be another quick playoffs exit with the opponent shutting down the core four and the team having nothing else to give.

  2. MATTHEWS and MARNER …. chemistry ???? …. the dynamic duo ??? …… DYNAMIC STINKERS
didn't even complete ONE pass ….. PUT NYLANDER …. back ….. WITH Matthews

  3. leafs have games where they follow burubes system to a tee, and others such as this one they completely get away from their new identity, annoying one for sure.

  4. Hey Max Domi, if you're reading this please stay away from the lineup especially the top lines. Tie Domi has been reimbursed for his contributions. If possible please give your top line to Reaves to train himself because he's going to be way more useful playoff time.
On another note Max Pacioretty please get well soon because you're very good just too prone to injury. 😂

  5. Reguardless of the lack of play we have players out of the line up and it was a tied game 1-1 until the official kicked the puck out front of the net for a tap in is what made us lose the game. There should be a rule if the puck hits an official and the opponent scores because of it they should stop the play.

  6. Robertson has to go, you won’t get anything for him, so just put him on waivers.

  7. The Capitals won the majority of the battles all game and that shows in the five-on-five numbers from the win. After 60 minutes, Washington was up 63-39 in shot attempts, 26-16 in scoring chances, 11-6 in high-danger chances, and 2.68-1.32 in expected goals. Their third period was especially brilliant, not allowing a single five-on-five Leafs high-danger chance and recording five of their own.
    ALL HAIL THE GLORIOUS CAPITALS

  8. The team looked slow and sloppy. They got some bad bounces. With that said, had they been playing harder, they wouldn't have been bothered and lost due to those unlucky bounces.

  9. Holmberg is not a top 6 forward. He's killing the offense on the second line. Why can't professional coaches see that?

  10. The toronto maple leafs are the Chicago cubs of the nhl. I hope theres another 3 decades before winning a championship

  11. If there’s a guy that can handle Torontos media it’s Berube. I love that, no sugar coating, straight to the point. Doesn’t fall into the traps they set

  12. JTS still the peoples captain, Matthews can wear that C but as long as johns here he’ll always be the true leader.

  13. I think marner blew a chance to put puck in net when he skated back of net and put it out front there was space between Washington goalie and post for rap around. Could have been the difference maker .

  14. Leafs problem is they don't get enough scoring from the D. If you look at top teams they have high scoring from the D.
