Whether you play hockey, watch it, or both, hockey is family. Horrible loss. As a hockey mom, who decided to be a goal tender because kids can’t have all the fun eh, I really feel for their mom. That fierce dedication that goes into getting up at 4am to drive them to playoff games hours away is something no other sports genre has (I formerly played tennis and our neighbors were mad for soccer; neither comes close).
