I think your projected line up is bang on! Problem is knobby likes to have nuge on that 1st line. Then we are forced to play Ryan at 4C and I really don’t think he can keep up anymore.
Henrique ryan Perry can go bring up Savoie make some trades and make some waives
Podkolzin is not a second line player. He generates no offence. Kapanen is not an NHL player. Ryan is way past his due date. These are simple decisions
I like your projected lineup a lot, I would do the same thing too, but I’m not sure like what they will do I don’t want them to trade J skinner I like his game a lot he’s been playing very on the 3rd line.

I'll be convinced on skinner if he manages to go through this year's playoffs without having to find himself. He's a great goalie dont get me wrong. But he's a kid. For a team who wants to win 4-5 years from now he's perfect. For a team that wants to win now, I don't think he's there yet.
the last 6 games we only faced 2 playoffs teams and went 1-1, next 5 games are all playoff teams this will show if we're actually back and rolling, lines wise it's gonna be very interesting to see what happens I've liked Kapanen more than brown
Derek Ryan won't be on this team by the deadline. Bob Stauffer pretty much confirmed this a couple of weeks ago

One thing we haven't seen that we need to see is consistent wins against good teams. There's a run of games against tough teams coming up, and the Oilers need to show that they belong in that category.

I think keeping Perry out would make this team fast but then you take out the veteran with the Stanley cup history. Not sure if you can send anyone down but moving Nuge to center the third line won’t help with the way the top line is playing.

Your line ups are very interesting. I think after the last game first line have to be Batman, Hyman, RNH, WITHIN RNH has to start up now. 2nd line Janmark, ROBIN, Podkolzin. 3rd Kane, Henrique, Arvidsson. 4th Brown, Ryan, Perry.
Kapanen disappointed me up to this moment also Skinner. But it is time to go!
Offense isn't the case, we do have different opportunities. Defense makes me anxious! Yes Skinner has a good wave, but what is about his Skinner moments, he had in the past?! We need a better coach for both!!!
Second is Bouchard after the not nomination for the Canadian roster. It is correct, he isn't as tough as Ekholm in defense and that counts! So we do have enough to train and doing better in the future, otherwise it is good to have the point we made! Cheers from cold Germany 🥶

Oilers fully healthy have too many good forwards. They can’t really take any of the forwards off the roster. Good problem to have but a difficult one.
I'm looking forward to having Evander Kane coming back. He adds scoring and toughness. When healthy he's good for 30 goals.
Oddly quiet around Kane , they should swap Kane and Ardvy on LTIR, what's interesting is neither him or Henrique got any trade protection on their deals, after the offersheet fallouts I wonder if shrewd moves may be coming
Even if Derrick Ryan had scored a goal , wouldn't change a thing for me , they need some juice/jam/grit/pop on that 4th line, Mccarron or Danforh could be a start
