Definitely way too many chances where the shooter hesitated a lot or looked for a pass instead. Despite such a high scoring game, even the announcers were starting to get confused at the lack of shooting while in the slot

The shootout told the story of this team red wings 2 best players score and Sabres 2 scorers look like they never had a puck on their stick. Goalie looked like a fish out of water. This team needs a change

Reimer was awful, defense is so damn soft it's awful to watch. No team has fear of going to the net vs the Sabres. That's very clear. Thompson needs to start playing like he is 6’ 6”. That frame needs to be crashing the net and battling in the corners. Not skating on the outside waiting for one timers.
