Cheer up Oilers fans. Edmonton played extremely well against the three top teams in the East on the road. This club is not far from seriously competing in the playoffs. Maybe it can't be fixed by the trade deadline but this off-season must include one top 4 defenseman and better CONSISTENT goaltending. Trades must happen if the cap is an issue.
The only problem I have with offsides challenges is that in cases like this, they both had absolutely no effect on the play. Yeah they were offsides but didn't change what happened
I hate the oilers, but that offside rule is the worst. If the ref calls it inside when the play is going, even if it is not, then the goal should count.
