Why is J Skinner in the bottom 6? If you want to get him going, wouldn’t it make sense to put him with another great playmaker in McDavid. Besides Kappi goal, that top line has been pretty stagnant with McDavid carrying the load way more than last year.

Again we were out goalie’d. Although overall the team generally played ok, the game exposed the many holes that exist in the structure of this team.

Most highly paid player in history…has his team treading water in 4th place. Leon should have been watching Tampa and how they paid their players when they were winning cups. Greed equals TOR = no success.
Yup the famous Leon give away that leads to skinner absolutely dropping the ball on a simple save. But you see what happens when a goalie can win a game for you! Team did well for the most part, skinner needed and should have made that save.
No pp? When does that happen? 🤔. Overall great effort tonight boys. Just couldn't beat hill who will most likely be team Canada goalie. Nuge coulda buried one on that rebound but sometimes thats how it goes. Still proud of the effort great game by Darnell and kulak. Henrique also had a strong game. Giveaway by Leon's drop pass led to only goal in a very tight game. Go oilers😊
