  1. If the Sens keep playing like they have they stand a good chance of extending the streak to 5 tomorrow. However, their next four games after that are two back-to-backs, first Vancouver/Edmonton then Winnipeg/Minnesota so I'm keeping my expectations tempered.

  2. Will I be surprised if the leafs beat dallas and then end the sabres losing skid? As a leafs fan not at all 😂

  3. Don’t know if you’ve heard but Anton forsberg was injured during warmup,he is not on the road trip with the sens.

  4. Askarov was recalled because Vanecek was injured by a puck that went into the bench in the game last night

  5. apparently, the Sens 40-8-3 this season plus last season when their goalies have a save % over .900, so Ullmark getting back to his Boston level definitely helps

  6. I don't know how to fix this without going in circles, but the common denominator is Pegula. Pegula came from humble beginnings, and I can't find anything relevant regarding his business principles, mentors, or philosophies. Pegula owns the Sabres outright. He does not own the Bills, he co-owns them alongside an association of athletes and business moguls. He isn't sole proprietor and therefore not the only decision maker, and I think that could be the difference here. How many yes-men is Terry surrounded by in the Sabres organization? I'll go out on a limb and assume that a self-made billionaire is stubborn and it likely takes someone with enormous gumption to change his mind and behaviours. Do we have anyone at all in this organization who isn't afraid to rock the boat? It doesn't seem like it to me. Does Terry like being challenged by others, or would he rather feel like the smartest guy in the room? We'll never know because he doesn't address the fans, so we have no idea who Bettman entrusted with our once beloved franchise. No idea where to go from here, but i'd say to all other Sabres fans keep a healthy disconnect to preserve your sanity.

  7. Schultz was one of my favourites. Before the foot injuries, he looked like a top 2 defensemen for Pittsburgh, but in spite of his declining skating abilities he still found a way to utilize his immense skillset with the Caps and Kraken.
