Great Sharks content! Glad you guys cover the west coast too, keep it up! The only jersey you can get is Celebrini really, maybe Askarov if you're into goalies.
Lets!
Go!
Shaaaarrrrrrks!

Smitty's starting to get his footing too. He looked way more comfortable last night, and is tightening up on mistakes.
I’m going to vote for an Eklund Jersey… guy is amazing, he started the rebuild, and he kept a winning mentality through some rough! times. He definitely could have sat back and not developed, but he kept getting better despite team adversity. Also he’s got a great attitude at all times.
and you know what else is massive?
Keep Askarov up and let him mature with the kids. Send one of the other guys down to the Cuda.
Let's put it this way…I don't watch hockey but have always rooted for the sharks cause I'm from the bay. it took a few weeks of celebrini to get me back on board. But even for somebody who only knows the basics of hockey, he absolutely passes the eye test and looks like a complete stud. Elite physically, elite mentally. He is always around the puck and makes seemingly very difficult things look effortless. I'm amazed.
I was at the Shark Tank when they played Utah last weekend and I can’t remember a time a singular player on the Sharks was cheered for as much as he was. That was also the loudest I’ve heard that place in a long time, especially in the finally minute…
Mike Grier is doing great…i like the sneaky little pick up of Kovalenko . I was watching an Avs game the week before the trade and Kovalenko stood out all night long
Did Mark Pye take a high stick?

Celebrini Smith or Askarov jersey
Defffff get a SJ road jersey, Celebrini my vote. Sickest (one of) away jersey in the league, it’s gorgeous
Vanecek took a puck to the head/face while sitting on the bench during the Jets game. Pretty sure that’s the upper body injury that happened. Never saw him come back to the bench. He probably got a concussion or he’s so swollen his vision is impaired, which won’t work for a goalie.
You guys are always glazing the Sharks 😒
Please continue 😏
Also- really sucks for Vanecek. He must have really got wrecked by that puck. Hoping he’s okay.
It’s a great time to be a San Jose Sharks fan. The next decade of sharks hockey is going to be amazing.
Ive been a sharks fan since the beginning. I remember going to games at the Cow Palace and was instantly hooked and because of that I played hockey for over 20 years. With that said, this is the most excited ive been about the team since we drafted Marleau!
Askarov will be sent back down. Georgiev and Vanecek need starts to drive their trade value, right now they are both valued extremely low.
Celebrini's backhand goal was sick! He was directly in front of me (Sharks charter season ticketholder, 7th row behind that goal), and I doubled over laughing afterwards.
It boggles my mind that he was a freshman in college just a few months ago, and the sort of things he was experimenting with at BU *still work* at the NHL level. His creativity and broad shot selection also make it much less likely other teams will adjust to his moves over time — something I've seen over the other years with other Sharks and opposing players who started out hot as rookies.
The one concern I have about Celebrini is he's taken a lot of punishment just in his first 22 NHL games. His teammates are standing up for him — notably Jan Rutta in the Winnipeg game — and NHL enforcers are rare these days, but I would love to add Ryan Reaves or a similar player to keep him safer. And having opposing players hesitate for even a fraction of a second would only make Celebrini more dangerous.
Another Sharks concern from the Winnipeg game was Shakir Mukhamadullin. He's only played three NHL games — and defenseman is the toughest position in hockey — but he needs to anticipate things much, much better to become a full-time NHLer. His hockey sense seems to be at the opposite end of the scale to Celebrini's, so he'll really have to work on thinking the game quickly to filter out bad actions/passes. He uses his size well, but so far that's about the best thing I can say about him.
yeah, that's because that Avs goalie sucks!
