@Canucks de Vancouver

  1. Dressing room seems fractured. Nothing some ayahuasca, float tanks and a night at Brandi's can't repair. Love finds away ❤️ 💖 ❣️ 🐋 🐳 🐋

  2. Why are they asking guys who are friends with Rick. Their not going to get a genuine response. They are going to get a puff answer.

  3. WTF? Did Gino criticize Demko? The problem is the D… Demko was Eff'ing amazing did you see the saves he made??? Not much goalies can do with all those tight in East to West passes… Even Lanks got beat on those!!!

  4. We had talk of a "country club vibe" in the locker room not too long ago. And with the roster overhaul we've had. It's gotta one or more of Boeser, Miller, Pettersson, Hughes or Demko who are still a problem. Can throw Myers in there as well since this is year 6 for him with us. Something about that core stinks, and we can't keep rotating out 3rd pair D and bottom 6 forwards thinking that'll fix the problem. Our leaders are not leading, and clearly moving Horvat wasn't the wakeup call we needed. Or at least the effects of that move have worn off on the core 5.

  5. Canucks played like shit against Boston and hung Demko out to dry, he can't be blamed for that game at all

  6. At some point it’s not coaching its personnel.

They played great for a bit under green then he was the problem and was fired , they played great under Boudreau for a bit then lack of systems was the problem and he was fired, same thing is repeating again.

  7. TSN full of the same typical idiotic journalism. Blaming Demko the way that you guys did is ridiculous. Clearly east coast commentary that slept through the game and just looks at the stat line to make up their version of the story. Not a clue

  8. Completely missing the mark. He can't coach skill. He treats every player the same way, which doesn't work in 2024

  9. Johnny is way off here. Tocchet's playing career and emotion has no impact on his coaching philosophy, or it shouldn't. Coaching is still about X's & O's

  10. Some players need a kick in the ass others need a pat in the back. He is out of touch with hockey in 2024

  11. Are these clowns really putting this on Demko? Did you watch the Bruins game? He stopped multiple high-danger goals, it could've been way more. Look at the D in front of him, they hung him out to dry. Half the team looks like they don't even care. Get this shit out of here, you guys are clowns.

  12. One can debate whether Coach Tocchet’s tactics have ineffective. Claim that coach should call timeouts at least as often his Raptors’ counterpart Darko Rajaković. Yet last off-season didn’t go that well for the Canucks, and responsibility for that, falls on management, and we up to management for the Canucks to get out of being barely in a playoff spot. Maybe during the 2025 postseason the Canucks will go on a deep run as 2 seasons ago the Panthers did. That said, it’s very possible the Canucks will drop down the standings like there’s no tomorrow and by mid-January find themselves at least 10 points out of a playoff spot and thus likely have a very remote chance of making up that lost ground.

  13. It’s the same reason their power play has been terrible since last season. Zone entries are awful and so are their retrievals.

I like a lot of their players however they’re soft. Boeser; Petey; Hughes are not gonna win a battle (no dis at Hughes, he’s unreal)

But when 3 of 5 players cannot win a loose puck battle you no longer have a man advantage.

Unless Boeser is willing to sign major discount, trade him while he has value (under 7 mil per cause he loves it there). I would look at someone like Simon Nemec in Jersey

Hronek, Willander and Nemec on Right side with Quinn on left side is great foundation.

You hope Lekkerimaki is legit and can replace Boeser goals in the next 2 seasons.

Canucks are not winning with how they’re built. I hoped Petey would get out of slump but something does seem off . . . Is he not happy? and hasn’t grown/put on weight in 5 years.

He use to be more physical and he use to shoot. Something is not right.

JT is legit. Dude works hard and wants to win. Love him or hate him.

    Joshua . . . Hoglander . . . Clock is ticking.

    Garland has been a revelation.

Debrusk has come on strong the last 6 weeks, thankfully.

They have pieces and they have passengers. The two don’t mix.

  14. ok peeps in the east don't know the west and the nucks …. if the the team don't play the system it's not toch's fault …

  15. Tocchet is in his 9th season as a head coach in the NHL and has won one playoff series, last year. I get a few of the teams were not very good. However if he fails to get something done this year ya have to wonder if he is the right guy and a legit Head Coach in the NHL. They have four good NHL forwards but besides Miller they are inconsistent. Garland is overachieving and having a good year but not sure he’s the answer but no questions about his effort. At some point the coach has to get the players on the right page and playing together or you are out.

  16. i guess everyone has forgotten lankinens stellar play? just put him in net

  17. So Now i understand why he didnt like Kuzy!! Kuzy is a fun guy to be around. Plaers like him. But god forbid he brings smiles to a dressingroom!
