  1. JT miller fought with luke schenn, bo horvat, and now petey. The canucks chose JT and moved on from the others. Dont forget JTs stick slamming drama to get a linechange going and his whimpy 'timeout" after getting benched. With no explanation. If the canucks do trade petey, this will be the third time JT has fought with a player and the third time.the canucks have sided with JT. Do you see how ridiulous that sounds?
    Its not petey.

  2. This team is in a win now mode and this riff does nothing but cause a distraction on and off the ice! If they can’t co exist, you gotta move one! I think Canucks get a better haul from a Petterson trade imo. It’s evident JT is in his head because when he’s not in the lineup, Petey elevates his game! As a Hab fan, I’d gladly have Petey on my team!

  3. i dont think pettersson does well with the tocchet system, its dump and chase, pettersson needs control entries with the pick where he can slow the game down. and being a listener of vancouver media, they are so done with petey. if he has a good game its, "yeah your getting paid 11 mil". if not, its, "why are we paying you". with a player that is on good terms with the media and fanbase, that is never the case. i think pettersson is getting traded for reasons we do not know.
the reason why garland has done so well under tocchet, is because the puck is dumped, and he goes down there chasing the puck. back to point to quinn. its a system for certain players.

  4. I'm not worried. I do think Miller is too passionate, making him overly emotional when it comes to hockey and I think Petey is a bit of a whiner… saw it last year at the end of the playoffs where when asked why he hasn't been playing well, he said he was injured but the organization wouldn't give him time off… then the organization had to step in and say that's not true, it's an excuse, where he then backtracked. anyway, this combination makes the drama not that shocking to me. I think Miller will come back strong, and even when Petey is off his game, he's actually pretty good on the penalty kill. we do this every year where we start off with issues then end up doing well, so I'm not concerned. in the meantime, we still have Hughes, Garland, Debrusk and DEMKO!!!!

  5. the Trade is going to be Pettersson, Deharnais for Jarvis, Walker and Morrow.

  6. Pettersson was a boy-wonder in the SHL. He even led the league in scoring at 18. When he first came into the NHL he was magic, on pace for 40+ goals and 100 points. But hit a total wall after the All Star break.

Watching him all of these years, he gets like that for a stretch and then something falls apart in his head at some point in the season. It's mental because of how he starts moping and not handling the criticisms well. Versus Hughes who is the mark of maturity and consistency at a year younger. I don't think Pettersson will overcome that pattern.

  7. Petterson isnt going anywhere, u have Lekettermaki on the horizon. The Sedins version 2

  8. miller and petterson both are millionaires thanks to their hockey talent.. what has happened to them and why they dislike each other i have no idea like most fans… if we could get equal valueack for both… i would trade petterson.

  9. It seems JT has always been involved in some type of drama, ever since he entered the league. Seems like Laine has taken a similar path as well.

  10. Canucks fan here………. I am so fed up with this crap……….. My redneck ass wants to drive to the city and, confront the both of them with my almost no social media presesnse and……… just try and get an end to the rumors

  11. Without Miller The Canucks will be too soft a team to be very competitive- particularly in the Big games and playoffs when it counts. Miller contributes hits, blocks, assists, goals, motivating fights, and a winning playoff percentage.

At the end of the day, it is the "team" that wins hockey games and gives you "compete". I must admit that some of Petterson's self-indulging, pouty interviews have rubbed me the wrong way as a longtime Canuck fan– particularly when you are betting the future of the franchise for the next 8 years on his character. Additionally, I question whether he is the answer for the Canucks as he has not really demonstrated commitment to improving his skating, physique, and balance during his time here as well as the fact that he all but disappeared in the Playoffs last year and, in fact, the latter part of the season since signing his "franchise player" contract. He does not show any real evidence or concern about how much the franchise has invested in him and even suggested in his early contract negotiations last year that Canada, and Vancouver specifically, is too difficult of a hockey market to play in– NOT what you want to hear from a true competitor!

It makes sense to keep the player who is most passionate about winning– like Vancouver fans– and shows up when it counts. I do not hold competitiveness over Miller's head as at the end of the day hockey is a competitive sport and Vancouver is a competitive hockey market; however, if his personality is indeed overwhelming to the rest of the team as some inside analysts have suggested, then I would resign myself to moving Miller as long as the Canucks mgmt. make a SMART trade that improves the overall team competitiveness and consistency level.

  12. Did the guy in the beginning claim that EP made like ten points in SHL before making the trip over. In that case he is totally clueless EP was an absolute beast and made 56 points in 44 games and carried his team to become champions. "Bum pick" yeah right get your facts straight before running your mouth. And then the proclaimed expert continues saying the fans in Vancouver wanted Vilardi over EP wow. Who got the better career by a landslide. This was the first and last time I watched this crap.

  13. Off topic but you need to go watch the Wings Habs game tonight to see how badly it was rigged. Francois St-Laurent is a corrupt ref and should be fired. Please make a video going over his history of rigging games cus it goes back over ten years.

  14. Sorry boys, but once I hear the word "like" 850 times in a video…I click off. Like do you like know like what I am like sayin'…like?

  15. Medias blowing it up bigger than it is. They can co exist, and i don't think either get traded , unless someone has a number one center available. Canucks looking for a 3/4 defenseman.
