I think poitras thing might be more minutes based. Not sure what minutes he is getting in provy… but it was orettt low count for him earlier. Though maybe he’s up in january

I didn't watch tonight's game, was eepy. But I think I have enough shit to talk about over the last week/weeks to where I can do a weekly review now. (this is a very long post)
First though, Buffalo. Wtf man. How can a team with such top 9 depth and probably on paper on of the best defenses in the league falter this hard. It isn't even on the goalies either. Idek how you fix something like this, everything is there for the team to be successful but they just aren't.
Now then, the Bruins. Ever since Sacco has taken over its been a pretty decent time. The special teams is sloowwwlllyy getting better. There's been times where they fall back into the bad habits before Sacco took over, but they have overall made progress in the right direction. On the players front I have a few things to say, starting with the top 6.
Pasta imo is playing perfect right now. He's realized that if all the offense goes through him then they'll never score, so he's taken a playmaker approach which has drastically helped the teams offense for the most part. Zacha has done his job well enough, and whilst Geekie is definitely not meant for a 1st line role, he's filled in the role alright enough to not be too much of a burden on the Czech duo.
Marchand has proven that he can turn back the clock by a couple years, and whilst he'll never return to peak Marchy, he's proved that he has at least a couple more years left in the tank as a 2nd line forward. Lindholm is still having many struggles, but he has been started to figure out how to be useful on his new team.
Freddy makes me sad, he is a beloved member of the B's, but with his offense being basically non existent and him not really being that enforcer type player on our team anymore, there really isn't much need for him on the B's. We already have enough defensive minded forwards on the team.
Defensively, this team is still heavily missing Hampus. People like little Debbie, Carlo, and peeke are playing well and doing their jobs. Lohrei is still having struggles, but he's becoming more productive on both sides of ice. Zaddy is uhh… Zaddy. Oesterle has been surprisingly good, I'm actually pretty happy with his play, and whilst Wotherspoon isn't getting much ice time, he's done his part well enough.
Goalies. Swayman has gotten much more comfortable in the net as the year has gone on. He still has struggles as many others on this team but he is slowly getting back to where we expected him to be. Korpi has been a really good surprise. He's done his job very well, and I hope he continues to play this well.
Overall, the B's have finally started to figure everything out the last couple weeks. Let's hope they can keep it up. Go B's? GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO B'SSSSSSSSSSS!

I don't know I thought Carlo actually looked good. And I feel like something that deserves more atention is that the effort was there all game. Even when this team was having issues with execution, they kept busting ass, forechecking, clogging up the middle, blocking shots and playing hard. I actually really enjoyed the game because regardless of how messy the execution was I loved cheering for them because they fucking cared. And I feel like that's the biggest difference between these bruins and the bruins a month ago.
If I were Poitras I would request a trade.

That's funny, when I saw you were dumping on them on your last few videos, I was like, be careful man, these Sabres will be showing up at TD Garden on Saturday and I'd hate to see the Bruins be the team that ends their losing streak. Almost happened.

Geekie looked better, Lorhei looked better, Korpi looked decent. Things are moving in a good direction. Just need Pasta back to 100%.

Be careful what you say about Buffalo….the B's didn't look a whole lot better.
I think they should put Poitras on the third line with Coyle on the wing. Basically, make a top six talent line for him to play on but give them third line ice time. Putting him with Freddy and Coyle would give you a better assessment of how he'd perform in the actual top six on this team.
I am a bruins fan, but I'm also sad to see the sabers lose again, I also love the sabers
