Ow man, the goaltenders are giving us saves that last season we were not getting at all. Both Ullmark and Forsberg have been brilliant this season. A few Sens fans on “X” are already saying that it's the same old Sens with the goaltenders, but Ullmark especially has made some huge saves for us in games (sure, he would have also wanted one or two back, but which goalie hasn’t had that this season in the NHL). These games against Boston last season would have seen us out of the game and dead and buried when going down by one in the second. But with the renewed belief that they have some stable goaltending, this team is battling. Speaking of the records in this episode, I heard this stat in the Bruins broadcast on the NHL TV feed. The last person to score 30 goals and amass 100 penalty minutes in three consecutive seasons before Brady Tkachuk achieved it was Keith Tkachuk (00-01, 01-02 & 02-03). Great stat 🙂
