  1. I wonder if they would consider trying to get nick schmaltz from Utah a right hand shot from the USA is just what we need

  2. Only caveat I'd have regarding Gourde, we already have a guy on each line with grit, plus they all score.

    Knies
    Patches
    Mcmann

Unless Gourde is replacing Reeves, I don't see him being a great fit.

  3. A good add if the price is managable, has cup winning experience, thats a good thing and he and Domi on the 3rd line would be a hard line to play against, certainly not afraid to "get they're nose dirty".

  4. If he’s healthy by trade deadline the Leafs need Boon Jenner who can easily offset Bennett!

  5. Holy fuck man. Stop picking old men. Nothing over 30 yrs old Jesus how stupid can ppl be

  6. Meh. Old guy with meh stats. Just being on a team that won a cup doesn't = instantly good.

  7. The shots and takeaways jump out to me , imo those little things make a big difference when it’s late in the game and you need to have puck possession and hold onto a win or force a OT scenario .

  8. Marner to centre for at least 10 good reasons. Centre problem solved. Easier to find a winger.

  9. 1. Natural playmaker 2. More ice to work with 3. Defensively responsible 4. Not a corner guy 5. Drive his own line 6. Can solve centre problem 7. Centreman justifies bigger contract better 8. Create a new challenge for Marner 9. Changes the narrative from contract 10 Easier to find a winger. 11. Creates centre depth. 12. Less assets to get a winger than another centre. Marner is Denis Savard 2.0 in the waiting. There may be some concern about faceoffs and strength down low. But go look at some Denis Maruk highlights. 5" 8, 165-pound, 60 goal scorer when NHL was more rough and tumble. Great chance for Marner to show what he is truly made of!!!

  10. I like this actually would be awesome i dont want to see them bring in someone they already had in the past

  11. Leafs need a big fast centre and move Matthew's to wing. He isn't able to deal with the wear and tare of playing center, and do you really want Matthew's chasing puck. He's there to score and he's not doing much of that when he's always hurt

  12. Here is a trade that makes more sense: To Tor: Boone Jenner, Olivier
To CBJ: Robertson, Hildeby, Kampf, 2nd rd pick 2025, 3rd rd pick 2026
