I don't put Draisaitl on the same level as prime Crosby and Malkin. Both of them won multiple cups by the time they were his age and actually made an effort to defend. Pissy doesn't compare.

Great questions but just a little bit off. First, to answer the girl's question, that's exactly what happened when Miller took his little break. Petterson came alive and they started winning. Miller came back and they stopped winning. Second, the really sh1tty hockey didn't happen when Hughes got injured. It started when Hronek got hurt. They have nobody to play with Hughes without Hronek. I would move a forward to acquire a good right D. If they can't swing a Gudas deal then maybe a Savard. Don't trade away Willander, Lekkerimaki, DPetey, or any 1sts. Our young defensemen will be ready next year, or the following one.
This season at a minimum is looking more likely to be for the Canucks a retool than a playoff appearance at least should they not get back into a playoff spot by next week.
