Met Zach in Edmonton. Asked him to autograph a few items. Super friendly and humble kid. Took the time to chat. Other NHL players can learn from this kids humbleness. Congratulations Zach, you deserve to be in the NHL let alone winning Lord Stanley.

A lot of wisdom from Zach and he has more than one great message for us. I love the game of hockey, but before hockey I took an interest in what they WEREN'T teaching us about history in school. The most heated things got was having to educate my fellow students on the plight of Native Americans. Zach would be really good in schools helping kids learn about equality of all. He is very humble, very well spoken, and he's also from a rich heritage.
What a powerful story, his passion on the ice is so visible in how he plays. I have a feeling the best is yet to come for Zach and I hope he stays in a VGK jersey a very long time.
