If you haven't read Max Domi's book, you need to. "No Days Off: My Life with Type 1 Diabetes and Journey to the NHL"
RELEASE THE MTL EPISODE!!!! I WANT TO FEEEL THE HATE!! Goo Habssbsbsb!!!!!!!!
This team is up there for the least interesting heading into the season
Seriously didn't even mention that they had a player DIE this off season?
They need more finishers? Laine and Bjorkstrand are sublime goal scorers. Chinakhov is new to the NHL, but his shot is absolutely lethal, and he shows no sign of slowing down so far. There's a lot of unknowns though, I'll give you that.
Adam you eat too much cheese
Cam can't make any plays and both Domi and Laine need a playmaker.
Pretty fair assessment (though I wish you gave my boy Bjorky some love haha). I agree that they probably exceed expectations but miss the playoffs.
Adam Boqvist was rushed into the nhl. When he was drafted he said he still felt that he was a few years away from being an NHL regular. Now a few years have passed and he has shown significant improvement. At times throughout last season he looked like a legit top 4D (and at times he was a bottom pair guy). I'm excited to see his development continue with the Jackets.
Huh Bjorkstrand doesn't exist in leaf land I guess
Goaltending assessments for these seem to be lacking recency. Like I personally like Merzlikins and Korpisalo but looking at last years numbers paints something far from a top 10 tandem. Combined with the Demko thing from the canucks it appears no one looked at last years save percentages lol
I'll take Werenski over Jones every single time. It's not a coincidence that CBJ and Jones specifically completely fell apart after Werenski was injured this past season.
Scott Harrington's cousin Dan was in my band Durpy and the MotherFunkers
How did you guys do a CBJ video and not one single time mention Oliver Bjorkstrand? Chinakov and Sillinger are going to bring some much needed energy to the roster as well
This season's Columbus will resemble last season's Detroit.
Texier is their #1 centre and their goaltending isn’t good
Jake Bean looked really good in the preseason, excited to see him go to work
As a Blue Jackets fan and full season ticket holder, I thought your assessment of our team was very accurate and very fair. The center position issues must be solved. I figure players most likely to be moved at the deadline are Korpisalo, Domi and possibly Laine. I'm sure Jarmo will be seeking more high picks. While I figure there aren't any playoffs in our near future, I feel this team is much better than the team that finished last season. They would be a team you wouldn't want to play late in the season if you're battling for a playoff spot.
The fact that Bjorkstrand wasn’t even mentioned shows how underrated he is. He led the team in points last year and I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave him an “A” on his jersey.
The werenski deal. He did an interview and said that his agent called him up and said something like hey. CBJ just offered you an extension and if you don't take it your an idiot. He didn't negotiate or anything from what I remember on the interview
C'mon Steve, how can you forget about my boy Veini Vehvilainen ? 😉
Mark my words, korpisalo to Colorado on or before trade deadline day.
Miko refused to be sent down, so he got voided, and dear god you can have Harrington back….
